I'd agree with the above advice, although what happened to you I would think is perfectly normal. I'm quite a skinny guy and if I don't eat for 2-3 hours I started to feel hungry, at 4 I started to get a headache and feel spaced out, and after that, perhaps at around 5 hours I started to get ocular migraines (coloured lights in my vision), which get worse until I can't really function. I've never pushed things beyond this point, but my wife has and she's passed out a few times when trying. Note that the times above are very dependent on how much I've eaten the day before and how much I've exercised - I just gave averages thinking of a normal day at work.

Without medical supervision that is an extermely stupid thing to do and shouldn't be recommended to anyone, potentially fatal.
Based on what?
Clearly, a pre-existing condition may be exacerbated but a fit and healthy person should be able to go many days, even weeks without food. No?
Water, not so much.

I am the same as you - I can't imagine not eating... ill be eating my lunch, thinking about what i'm having for tea! 28 or 41 hours without thinking about eating is beyond my thinking! To add i'd become horrible and like a person who has not slept too. My wife considers it a have a snickers problem... IE knows that I'm grumpy because I am hungary...

yes On a normal day I have breakfast at 7, then sandwiches at 9, 11, 1 & 3; snack at 5, dinner at 8 and snack at 9. If I try and do three meals a day I feel extremely hungry then lethargically full!

Ask yourself, are you fit to drive?

It may be the lack of food, it may be something else - you dont want this to happen when at the wheel. See a doctor.
I've decided to go one better. I'm going to get a full body MOT done. On the very rare ocassion that I see my doctor its far too brief and its just dealing with the symptoms presented. I'd like to know that I've been given a full check, and not just fior this one issue.

Good Plan!
