Physio booked for 15th September. Fingers crossed.

I stopped clicking my neck for the last week and the pain is significantly less, however there's still a slight pain always 24/7 at the top of my head.

Right now I have pain in my left temple, driving me insane. Really losing the plot at this stage. Nearly 3 months with a headache is ridiculous and I'm getting really sick of it. I feel like there's no end in sight and I'm gonna spend the rest of my life with a headache..

What a depressing thought..!

I was the same - had it for about 8/9 months and was convinced i had something seriously wrong with me. That sort of pain over an extended time really does grind you down.
Happily it was sorted out with 4 visits to the Physio and I go back when i feel it beginning to return and it's been kept at bay for 5 years now..

I had to power through the urge to click my neck. Took about 3 weeks for the feeling that I needed to, to disappear. It hasnt come back.

Keep going. It's worth it.

I've had a couple of physio sessions since I last posted and it's proving to be helping a lot. Although my headaches are fairly minor compared to yours they seem to have disappeared.

She reckons my issues are down to my posture so have been working to address that. It appears that my shoulders are slouching forward when I sit pushing my head forward which in turn causes areas of my spine to be bent the wrong way.

I had a fair bit manipulation to try and release muscles that are seized in my neck back and shoulders I've also had some acupuncture and all in all its much better, between sessions I've got simple exercises to do along with being more aware about how I stand and sit.

Hope this gives you a bit hope that you can get your issues sorted.

I know a couple of physios/osteo, so might have been able to get a few strings pulled, but sorry, you are too far south!

I still get a little bit of acne round the back of my neck, I know I have a spot when my neck gets really stiff / clicky / extra sore shoulder muscles / sometimes a headache.

My dad used to get headaches when he was overdue to give blood, headache would persist until he donated. There is a technical term for that, he never chased it up as he knew the fix!

Are you still getting outdoors? - I get headaches if I stay in my flat(PH Mansion) for too long, then I don't want to go out, but a walk through a park really helps me.

The 15th is still a long way away, fingers crossed it helps!

Ah ok, thanks anyway!

Yes I get out, every day pretty much. Which leads me to a possible theory..

From November to June I worked at Pizza Hut as a delivery driver. I would spend a good portion of the evening driving, from 4pm till midnight. But, I also spent a fair amount of time standing too, maybe 3, 4, 5 hours. This is whilst making boxes etc etc.

I moved jobs for better pay at start of June (when my headaches started!), my new job was, once again a delivery driver. But they don't require me todo instore work. So instead of standing up making boxes waiting for a delivery, I'm sat down on my phone instead. I now have realised that the ONLY time I stand up at my job is when I'm getting out the car to deliver. Which makes me realise, I spend about 80-90% of my day, sat down!

Is it possible that I have these headaches and neck pains from simply not standing up anymore as I'm pretty much seated most of my day?

You've answered your own question; there's been a dramatic rise in neck and back problems in young adults and children since the advent of smart phones.

It's a possibility, not the definite cause of my headaches. Plus it's not like I just started using a phone this year haha

It's a leading contender though, you've told us you're spending a lot more time on your phone and spending time sat in a van; van seats are often not very supportive even when new, once they've had a few thousand arses dragged across them what support they offered may be long gone.

Never mentioned a van, I do deliveries for a Chinese takeaway, in my own car which is rather comfortable biggrin

I read delivery driver and assumed van, mea culpa; comfortable ≠ supportive though.

How long have you had your car?

(was a passenger in a Fiat Panda once, never again, apart from the ride being dreadful it would give me headaches.)

Drat, that puts paid to that.

Diet? - something in the Chinese meals that you are reacting to the smell of / the ingredients? - if I had to smell those all day I would eat nothing but them!
