Having a st day myself to be honest, just one of those days where nothing seems to be going right frown Bought Forza H3, didn't check the min specs and it wont run on my computer, took 45 minutes to get round them M4 J5 roundabout due to completely selfish fking aholes blocking the junctions causing gridlock, updated my phone and the browser wouldn't work so had to hard reset and to top it off got a headache from the stress. Might go for a stroll round Staines at lunch to clear my head.
Not sure that's depression!
Doesn't matter , always good to vent, stop things building up !!

Rob, great that you've reached a stage where you can advise others, also a good indicator of how your self esteem is improving - all positive steps.

I've followed this thread from the first day it kicked off. I have no experience with depression so have offers no advice.

All I have to say is well done rob, you appear to have improved 10 fold. I wish you many happy days ahead and whilst you appear to have enough friends and people to reach out to from this forum. I am always happy to lend an ear if you need a random someone to vent to.

I wish you many happy days ahead.

Hi Rob, what are you up to today? A walk for me later to 'blow out the cobwebs'. If I was in your neighbourhood I'd be knocking on your door inviting you to join me along the Thames perhaps - going to give it a try? Have a good weekend.

Good qualifying from Jenson to beat both Williams, eh? I honestly think you're doing extremely well Rob. You've got to grips with your situation and you're accepting help which is really encouraging, I'm pleased counselling has started as I know you'll benefit from it. Enjoy the GP!

Am good, still contemplating an XBOne and have nearly managed to get it past the wife. Also walked a good 7 or 8 miles today, so very nearly ready for bed.

Only just popping up but have read all of this. Glad to see you are on the mend rob, depression is a scary thing.
I've not really told anyone about it but I suffered quite badly with it last year and a few times contemplated driving into something hard at speed to end things. Only thing that stopped me was imaging my friends and family when they found out what had happened.

What's scaring me is that I can feel it starting to try and get a grip on me again, it's entirely down to my job too. I work in a call centre and dread coming intu work. I've got no girlfriend which just ends up with me feeling lonely despite being surrounded by people who love me.
It's a horrible thing to be hit by, keep up doing things that make you happy rob.

Late to the thread, but the below linked is a good one to print out, and put somewhere discretely (say inside a kitchen cupboard door) to refer to now and again if all feels like it's gone/going to st.

I have had my episodes with mental health, and have it to refer to at times. Ignore a few of the Americanisms, as the gist of it is spot on.
