Really depressed
Discussion
'Morning Rob, good to see that the counselling is having some benefit. As has been mentioned already - don't be afraid to ask for help with finances. Remember, you're not the first person to be in such circumstances, support is there when needed. BTW - my tip for getting to sleep: tune into radio 4 Extra and listen to a comedy programme. I do that every night when I wake up which can be several times and I never get to hear the end. All the best.
I saw a Scottish comedian linked from another thread and liked what I saw. it was weird as the comedy felt so close to how I think. So I thought I would have a look on wiki and noticed he suffered from depression.
I know for sure that mine is part of me, the same as my flesh and blood. I do the best to get thru but I am sure as everyone else who suffers it can be hard, but it is always good to read about others and understand you are not alone, and not to isolate yourself.

A friend of mine killed himself today. No outward signs of worrying about anything. He hadn't mentioned anything to anyone. He seemed happy. And now he's gone. Please, if you are having problems or worrying about stuff just talk to someone. There's always a way to sort things out.

Depression seems to common among comics, Jim Jefferies (personally my favourite comedian) talks about it fairly often, also I think Frankie Boyle has mentioned it once or twice.I know for sure that mine is part of me, the same as my flesh and blood. Are you alone Robster or can you get in touch with somebody friend or family to talk to? You must eat and drink liquids you will dehydrate.I have been there feeling very depressed after my cancer operation which I survived.
I am ok now but this is about you.Don't be ashamed about anything,it takes a brave person to tell their story.
Rob, have you got stuff in the house you can eat? Or have things got on top of you too much for that just now?
I'm well up for helping you get setup with a delivery of frozen stuff if that'd be useful/welcome - eg if meal prep more than microwave isn't possible at the moment.
Please go and get a glass of water and a slice of toast or a few crackers or whatever now, because the low blood sugar and dehydration will only make you feel worse.
