Just try to take each day as it comes, you WILL get better I promise you, it might take weeks, months even, but you WILL.

The most important thing is don't keep things bottled up, churning negative thoughts over and over in your mind....TALK to people, it will help.

Pity that you're having a st day Robster, but you have managed to speak to your GP. So little gains, eh? No point worrying about getting out of bed at 9.30 at night really. Maybe aim to have a leg stretch tomorrow. Any places near where you live that you could go tomorrow? Local church would give you a friendly, un-judgemental ear. Probably a cup & a biscuit too!

Robster - iVE BEEN THERE.

Ive made the exact plans as to how, where and why I would end it all.

Trust me,no matter how dark it seems right now - the morning always comes.

Get professional help, see your GP, and ABOVE ALL else - talk! to anyonne that will listen.

Theres plebty on here that can help, use the pm system.

The beers add to the problem, so I am told. So, no. I think you have had a few tonight, Rob, have you not?

Depression is an illness and you need medication to treat it - please speak to your GP or phone the NHS Crisis team as a matter of urgency and they can start you back on to the road to recovery. 6-8 weeks of taking medication and your whole perspective will change,

Hang in there - this is the worse it can ever get and I promise you with the right medication you will feel like a different person.

You will get better, please just get medical help.

It's a bit like having a broken leg, you would phone for an ambulance straight away, mental illness is no different in that it often requires treatment.

Not really, no.

We all lean on the beers whne the going gets tough, but in reality -it makes things worse.

I know it helps dull the pain, but you are only masking the symptoms..........

Been there too Robster

Alcohol is a depressant, you should have been told that. Seriously, don't drink when you are low...not surprising you don't want to get out of bed

Stay alive mate, trust me, speaking from experience.

Night is always darker before the dawn, you can and will get through this. Keep talking, whether to friends and family or people on here.

Stay strong fella.

Don't do this. Please, don't do this.

Plenty of us on here either are or have been throgh depression and / or anxiety.
Things are never as bad as they seem and if you kill yourself you WILL leave lifelong utter devestation and heartbreak for your family.

In the morning, things will be better.

Alcohol is a big depressant, please don't drink it while you are like this. It makes everything many times worse.
