There will be no clean start.

Its over. Done. Delete her number. Remove from FB. Ignore her....
Absolutely this.

I did it back in March this year. Message from someone I'd been seeing for a few months saying 'I'm not sure I can do a relationship, got the kids and stuff to think about'.

Me: 'Ok, had been thinking the same'.

Then I deleted her from everything - phone contacts, Facebook, Whatsapp etc.

Didn't stop her contacting me a few days later. Ended up blocking her completely.

Bit late to the party but I whole heartedly agree with other posters who have said move on.

I wish I had someone to tell me that when I was your age going through the same thing with an ex, took me ages to let go as we were 'friends'. Let me tell you what 'friends' means, it means you text her going on about how you miss her etc,you carry on thinking you hav a future and she's off fking someone else.

My life would have been better and easier if I'd just got over it and moved on.

The Tiffany thing is hers. I won't be selling it despite spending a four figure sum on it.

Didnt you say she is 19, so unless you have been seeing her since you were 16, you are still a mug to be spending that much on her.

I assume you still have the receipt for something so expensive? Take it back and get your money back.

Of course she is keeping you hanging on you muppet. You're spending extortionate amounts of money on her and all she's having to do in return is keeping you sweet and trotting around after her like a love sick puppy.

You, are a walking door mat my dear.

Indeed. Its quite sad. Take the item back and piss the money on something fun for yourself. You will feel much better.

This is one of those times when you should tell your dad what you have done, and then follow his advice to the letter.

'Boot the entitled wee cow in the foof and why the hell are you spending that kind of money on an 18yr old bird and not yourself in the first place. What kind of idiot did I bring up?'

He's dead and gone but that's pretty much how that'd have went hehe

OP was brave enough to come on here and tell us of his problems so hopefully he'll be brave enough to come back here in 6 months and tell us we were all correct.
