Not sure if anyone cares anymore but thought I'd leave one last update.

Feel like I've proven a lot of people wrong on here. We've never been better since I last posted on here and things have only got better between us. Unfortunately I had to leave my job and take medical leave as my health has taken a turn for the worse and now I've got to move back home. Moving day is tomorrow so no going back now. We've both agreed that we will try and make things work long distance and she's even considering dropping everything she has up here to move down with me.

I genuinely don't think she will drop everything and move with you.

I spent the last 9 years in an off/on relationship - everyone advised me to leave, I insisted I could make it work and kept on trying.

Left her a month ago, bought myself a Monaro, started seeing someone from work, and I'm off to Vegas for two weeks on Monday.

Life is great !
