13 stone 13 pounds.

Under 14 stone and under 90 kg.

Run went well. Down from 11.5 minute miles to 10 minute miles - cycling quicker as well. A little weight loss and fitness, but I think it's mostly the confidence.

Hopefully a better week for me. 4 gym visits with around 15k in total on the treadmill.

Foods been better but not great struggling to stop snacking I'm out tonight for a meal which is not great for this so going to the gym today and tomorrow to buy me a few pounds.

Second week in all is well weight has dropped to 119.5 so a loss 1.5kg. Pretty happy with that and aiming to lose at least that every week. Nice run in the morning aiming to do a 4-5 miler at sub 10 min mikes. Not going to smash any records but not bad for 18 & a half stone!

I will be sub 15 stone come June which should see me under 15% body fat.

Thanks all for your suggestions, I really am trying too loose fat. I understand that my frame is smaller than some of yours but I do struggle with my diet. Hence trying to join in. I will try and keep my input to a minimum however will engage from an offset.

At one stage of my life I was 75kg and then got stuck on 68kg for years. I generally got this down by having breakfast and one meal during the day.

Going to bed hungry is a positive attitude, the body consumes very little when sleeping. The days of requiring a lot of energy in bed seem to be behind me!

Good luck to everyone.

Mate don't limit your input I think everyone myself included is just concerned about your health. Do you do any resistance training? It's brilliant to lose weight and distance runners Sir Mo is know for heavy lifting might be an idea to try?

Well done to everyone on here - there is some considerable cumulative weight loss going on!

Had a good week - lots of soups, occasional small treats (Freddo!) and even managed to navigate 2 big work buffets without too much difficulty. Only a small loss this week - 1 lb, but it feels sustainable. So I'm know (translated into new money) 84.8 kg.

Now at 93.6 after 2 weeks - so continuing in the right direction. Dry January and increasing the daily calorie target on Apple Watch seem to be working.

Hope everyone else makes progress this week.

They really are. I can't just lounge round because I start to graze.

So I keep myself busy knowing that I have a healthy chicken jalfrezi and rice to come at 600 cals for the lot, which means I can even have a glass of wine with dinner smile

After a few false starts in the last 6 months, this one feels like its sticking and its becoming more sustainable.

I am not denying myself something like fish and chips if I want it - but I have decided I cannot do it on a whim and just have to look forward to it on Friday or whatever and do the exercise/ eat appropriately in the run up to keep it all in budget

Latest update for me is 110.1kg.

I have used apples as grazing and sparkling water tmhel when wanting to snack, crisps being my previous go to food in a hurry.

Not giving up on carbs yet, have rice or potatoes and even pasta most days. Just given up on the fat.

Pleased wth the loss so far and will keep going

Not moving from 100kg. Has anyone tried some of those appetitie suppressants? That I think is my problem: snacking...

That's the key. Find your groove and stick with it - if it's working for you that's all you need.

Some people find it easier dropping carbs - I personally wouldn't either and i'm getting on just fine.

I'm afraid there isn't a less blunt way to say that!

I have just got into the mind set that being hungry for a bit won't hurt me, or if I absolutely must have something it is 100 kcals or less if it gets distracting, just to take the edge off. It takes a couple of weeks of discipline to get into it, but you will

Calories in - work - run/gym/cycle = weight loss/gain.

61 for me, down 1kg.
