194lb this morning, which is nice as I started at 203 before Xmas.

Also got my heart rate to an average of around 65 from high 70's to mid 80's.

Surprisingly light this morning at 191 lbs

So already knocking on the door of a stone lost.... Feels a bit much. I was probably reading a little high at Christmas because of lots of salty good and booze and I am probably a shade dehydrated today

It's all going in the right direction anyway

A week of nights and an awful cough coupled with a raw, sore throat means that I haven't done any exercise all week. A slight gain from me, up to 89.2kg.

A few sugar related re-lapses this week but still lost a little bit - now at 90.9 kg

Is anyone trying (or know anyone who has tried) the body coach 90 day program?

hi vocal minority - i know you're a volunteer in this so requests are cheeky, but if you're doing this in a spreadsheet could you add a column showing absolute loss (for interest, rather than competition)

Nice meal at the mother in laws, no booze, no starter, modest main then went a bit mad, dessert, then cheese, then some chocolates, oops, to be fair, had hardly eaten all day.

Weighed myself today, holding steady: 61kg.

This is exactly what i am talking about, i can not seem to loose anymore. I am still trying though. I was 59kg last April so i know what is possible.

Chicken salad@Nandos. Was nice actually but did swipe a few chips from the kids plate.

I've not weighed this week yet , will do so on Tuesday.

On a positive note I tried on a shirt his morning that I last wore maybe 2 years ago (I don't like throwing stuff away!) and was pleased to find it fits, 1.5 inches smaller round the neck than what I have been wearing. Happy days!

97.2kg this morning, last year I got down to 97, maintained it for a couple of months (however I did ease off with making an effort to lose more) and then it slowly crept back up.

This time though I am sticking with it and the lack of booze I think is helping too and I intend on carrying on my dry January through February too.

Week 3 weigh in and 10lb down, so more than happy. Hopefully this will continue, but suspect it'll slow down.

New weight 92.7kg - best of luck to all others weighing today.

I am slowly creeping up the milage on runs - but struggling to fit bike rides in next week - the weather is either literally freezing, or foggy, or both.

And that just feels a bit dangerous for some of the cycling I do and places I go.

Annoying.

I have not ridden since the start of the year. But really hate the cold. Been running lot's though, so hoping this will translate in the Spring.

As if to prove my point - guy doing his time trial practice down on his aero bars came off literally as I was along side him (for the sake of completeness I was no where near him and was most of the way over the white line!)

Fortunately the people behind pulled up in time, fortunately he had lots of room and I looked over at him just as he started to lose it so I was able to move right over. Pulled over and ran back to make sure he was ok and the road was so greasy, moisture and a bit of mud and it felt so slick. He was down on his aero bars and the front just went.

He was ok once the shock subsided, bit of bruised arse and pride (bike was ok) - scared the st out of me though - the guys behind did very well to pull up smartly too.

But yeah - that's why I am weary of cycling this time of year!

I do find it intriguing how much the readings bounce around when weighting nearly every morning:

I read an article in the guardian (yeah yeah, I know) a year or two ago where a chap weighed himself on the hour for 48 hrs. Up and down like a yo yo by a lb or two if I remember.

Wouldn't suprise me, especially on £25 scales! Error margin and all...
