PHAT fighters Q1 Weight Loss Challenge
Discussion
91.7kg last night, which means it took me a week to catch up from last weekends party.
total loss for the year now 5.6kg, or 6.1% of original mass.
My target originally was 85kg by 9th April (start of my holiday) look unrealistic, as my tracking spreadsheet now predicts 86.6kg).
I wonder if i should add excercise into the mix - loss to date is down to diet only.

One thing I have noticed is that you get checked out a bit more when you are thinner/fitter, was wearing some more snug (but not too snug) jeans and Polo shirt, two mid twenties girls started chatting to me at the bar, under no illusions here but it does seem to make a difference to how you are treated/perceived, got complemented on my "Guns"

Im struggling to get used to the 'these trousers dont fit anymore!' but in a good way rather than bad
Weird isnt it, Monday morning used to sometimes be panic station to find trousers that didnt cut me in half, now it is time to find some that fit, will buy some new ones soon, being thinner makes you feel more enthusiastic about getting new stuff because it looks so much better and isnt in a massive size. just a bit of a nuisance how much it costs, my wife has lost more than me, it has cost thousands as she re does her entire wardrobe.102.84 this morning, nicely down from my Saturday weigh in .
Sub 100kg is slowly looming into view, that's my second major milestone (first being a stone in weight), then I'll start to look towards my second stone (98.8kg).
Overall target weight is 95kg, then I'll review my body composition and fat levels to make a new goal. I've been lighter than that previously but more of a 'skinny fat' as I lost it far too quickly whereas this time its been a nice steady progression.
Keep plugging everyone.
Edited to add - 8.1% loss from original

Morning all. Been 2 weeks since my last checkin.
Was at Butlins in Skegness last week with my boy. Thus i cosumed pizza for the first time this year. Also drank Coors lager. Went self catering btw. Felt Minehead Butlins was better overall imo.
Weigh in this morning : 100.7kg
Back to it now. No lager, just Jack Daniels or vodka and not getting back onboard the pizza train. With mornings getting lighter, might try running before going to work.
Get ripped for the beach in Weymouth (August) is the plan.

Now here's an annoying one - I had suspected my digital scales were not the most accurate and confirmed it the other day when they gave two different readings 1 minute apart.
So I got some standard analogue scales and to my amazement they say I am TEN pounds lighter than the digital one! I don't know what to think! I'd love for it to be true but what are you guys using? I don't know what's accurate and what isn't.

I use digital scales in my bathroom. Absolute weight doesn't matter to me so much as the relative change, and I figure even if the digital scales are not accurate they probably register the delta just fine. Not logged my progress for a few weeks, sorry. My weight has been a bit up and down recently but currently at 90kg. Not a big gain, but still a disappointing gain.
As a shift worker I struggle to motivate myself to use the treadmill when I'm on a week of nights. I don't tend to sleep very well so when I get up after about four hours sleep I have a habit of mooching around the house doing nothing in particular. Mentally it seems like a week of living in a daze, if that makes any sense.

14.10, slow but steady, pound a week, maybe a smidge more, thats three stone since my official start in September, pretty much a twenty kilo gym weight plate, imagine hoiking one of those round with you all day every day.
Starting to look fairly toned now, still plenty of fat in areas but definitely progress.
I wonder how much muscle I have put on in six months, not training to the level on here do but lifting weights and gaining muscle, well either that or the fat loss is exposing it, the missus keeps telling me not to get too big and showing me pictures of how she wants me to look ultimately, Jason Statham apparently but not sure I have the dedication to do that, but have come this far.

i'm sure its good natured but if my mrs was showing me pictures of how she wanted me to look i wouldn't like it one little bit (as I'm sure she wouldn't if i was showing her pics of slebs).Starting to look fairly toned now, still plenty of fat in areas but definitely progress.

I did point out that it is my body and what I want, it is a family trait that they have to express an opinion, on everything, whether they know anything about it or not, I dont take much notice, she was tellign me that Protein shakes are "Empty Calories" and I may as well get a McDonalds milkshake, the other one was three eggs in one sitting is ridiculous and will raise my cholesterol dangerously, so I take some of her advice with a pinch of salt, some of it is quite sensible but she seems to assume I am dumb and never do any research or give anything any thought. Generally I just do my own thing being pretty strong willed and not the thick she seems to assume !
