90.8 today. Just shy of the stone now, to mix units a bit.
Actually i just checked my spreadsheet and its just (100grams) over a stone I've lost. So hats good news. Bad news is I have a last minute 4-day trip away with work that was never factored into my plans that will be very difficult to maintain my diet, as long as I stay off the booze I hope the damage can be limited to a week without loss as opposed to a gain.

Had a week away in Wales which combined a lot of cycling and walking with lots of eating a drinking so thankfully the scales aren't too unhappy today.

Weighing in at 130.9kg which I'm happy with considering the consumption of the last few days.

Morning all,

102.39, down from 102.84. Slow but steady progress (which I'm completely at ease with!). Now fitting comfortably into Large T-Shirts, on the smallest belt hole and my waist is sitting between 34 and 36".

If anyone is looking for healthy balanced prepared meals, I noticed that M&S have a really good range in at the moment @ 3 for £10, some decent options with low salt, high protein and balanced carbs and most come in sub 400cals - I'll admit to being too lazy to prep this week!

To mix the units a little bit I'm just over a lb of entering the 15st region. To think I was knocking on the door of 18st when we started this makes me very happy. Are there any plans to run a Q2 - Q3 challenge? It's really helped me keep on track.

Have you tried the Chicken Flatties?

Both flavours are really nice.

You sound very like my situation, was knocking 18, 14.11 this morning, a little off as light as I have been at 14.10 but am quite happy for it to be slow like you say.

I am working on 2000 ish calories a day, few drinks at the weekend, may step things up a bit but aiming to see a pound a week.

It is an awesome feeling, its little things like being able to bound up the stairs, a combination of loads of leg exercises and being a full 20 kilo gym weight disk lighter.

This is just how it has to be, not prepared to be obese any more, it isnt fun, being slimm(er) is much better than pies, chips, cakes etc, can still enjoy food, just less of it and different types, I am going to weigh myself every day now for the rest of my life, takes 30 seconds and keeps me on track, I think there is a tendency when you are heavier to be jealous of slimmer people and think they have it easy but i think, in a lot of cases it is just discipline and effort that separates fat from slim.

In my mind, if I have one bad meal per week, I stay the same weight based on the exercise I do. Any more than that and I can put on.

If I have no bad meals in a week, I have a good chance of losing a pound or so. Slow and steady, I only have around a stone to go.

I use that logic when the temptations come.

Mid week weigh in, still dropping. 102.16 down from 102.39 or 16st 1 1/4 lb in old money.

Really starting to notice a loss in size now which I have mixed feelings about. Obviously its great I'm losing fat and stripping back to muscle but my trousers are becoming looser around the quad areas frown I guess slowly but surely I'll realize there isn't as much muscle under there as I thought lol!

118.3kg this morning, so now 5.5kg down on my first weigh in on this thread.

Interesting to go down to stores and pick up a 5kg container of product, hits home how much is coming off.

Went for a Dexa scan on my wonky back, nurse weighed and measured me, 95 kilos, then checks my notes on screen "Says you are 115 kilos here, er, can you get on again" and she looked confused, I said "I have lost a bit of weight", "A bit" she says biggrin

Fairly good day today, but just had a dirty, dirty evening meal a King Pot Noodle and Oven chips, 1000 or so gloriously decadent calories, needed some bad food as had only had like 700 so far today.

Kind of just maintaining at the moment, happy to just hovver for a bit, going to start a big push next week as will be back cycling to work, which seems to be integral to me losing weight.

And well done fell Phat fighters, lifting stuff does make your realise, I am down by one of the 20 kilo weight plates in the gym from last summer, imagine carrying that with you, scary. I see folk at work using the lift for two flights of stairs because they are too overweight and lazy, I romp up them now, barely registers when before I would be breathing hard, not going back and still need to lose a stone or more.

Hi everyone, apologies for the lack of participation so far, I've had some stuff to deal with (that I won't bore you with!).

So I've been flexible dieting (https://www.iifym.com/iifym-calculator/) IIFYM if you're interested and so far lost just over 1 stone although in fat terms it's actually more as I've gained some size from returning to weight lifting. I tend to find my weight doesn't actually fluctuate that much over longer periods but my body composition does change dramatically with good nutrition/training. I'm taking pictures and measurements every Sunday to track progress.

My target calories per day are 2,500 or close with a protein goal of approx 200g. I've been tracking food intake with My fitness pal and the only supplements I take are protein powder, vitamin C and ZMA.

For exercise I walk the dog for 2 hours per day and weight lift 5-6 times per week.

I'm enjoying flexible dieting as you get freedom to eat some bad foods as long as you stay below your daily calorie goal and meet protein requirements.

Dug the Road Bike out (been using my MTB) and it was a revelation, no work backpack and laptop, much lighter bike, and much lighter me, not ridden it since I have lost weight, fettled it and though "sod it, going for a ride", did 20 odd miles and felt great until getting near home, hadnt eaten enough, but before that, felt rapid, hill climbing and acceleration are noticeably better, came up behind a couple of fairly serious looking roadies and tagged along for a bit, until they went up a longish hill, too slow so went past, doing leg presses and stuff seems to be helping my cycling, to be fair they may have done 50 miles plus already.

14.12 this morning, (Thai meal, few beers this weekend) have hovered a bit between 14.10 and 15 so now going to push for 14 and below, drop the rest of this podge once and for all.

Monday morning weigh in, had two very decent meals over the weekend (carvery and a big plate of chicken/bacon and sweet potato fries) so wasn't expecting too much, made sure I stayed under my cals each day though!.

Happy to see a 1lb loss taking me down to 101.94 or 16st and 3/4lb. Next stop has to be sub 16st, its taking a while but I'm seeing a slow and steady weight loss each week. As I've said previously I'm very happy with this approach as I have retained a lot of shape and structure, albeit with more definition and smaller clothes sizes smile

Running total: 9.96kg lost
Percentage: 9% down
