No idea where to put this thread but here seemed like a good start.


Any of you PHers making the trip to Leeds?

I'm a long time follower of WSM and general Strongman comps but this is the first event I am going to and I can't wait!

A couple of my mates will be armwrestling each other (to entertain the crowd but they will be giving it full beans) so I may go if I'm not working.

Went last year - was awesome seeing Eddie pull the 500kg and big Loz win the title. Might have to go again this year

Tip - unless you're built like an absolute beast, don't turn up in a wife beater or tight t shirt - saw a few guys do this last year then look really embarrassed when they realised even the guys selling the t shirts would make the rest of us mere mortals look like children.

I had a photo taken with Ed Hall and I look tiny.

Even body builders look normal next to some of the WSM.

Crazy photo. And then you have Bjornson who is bigger than all of them in that photo!
