Bit of a strange one. For about the last 3 weeks I feel fine in the day but when I go to bed I'm waking up with sinus pain.
I get up in the morning and for the first few hours I sound like I have a cold (also coughing phlegm) then as the day goes on it eases off until I go to bed.

Friend says I have a sinus infection but surely this would have cleared by now?
Other than this andthe fact I'm sleeping a lot I feel fine, still going gym, no days off work etc.

Any ideas?

At this time of year, maybe an allergy & then congestion caused by being horizontal. Try some Loretadine (Claritin) and/or squirt some Beconnaise up your nose

Beginning of March is the first round I get of hay-fever, I get headache & sinus pain. I am on permanent anti-histamines as I have urticaria. But last year the normal loratadine or citirizine wouldn't handle it. So I ended up using Benadryl with Diphenhydramine.
That kept it under control. It normally ends this round of hay-fever mid April then I restart hay-fever in July.

I'm no doctor, but there's another thing that occurs to me as a reverse of something my physio recommended me to do to get better blood flow to my aching Achilles tendons, and in your case that would be to prop the bed up on a couple of books at the head end. Helping gravity sounds a bit Heath Robinson but there's no harm in trying.
