Wrist arthroscopy

Any experiences? Looks like I'll be lined up for this sometime soon.

Much of my work involves heavy lifting and constant physical use of hands etc (chef)

Any suggestions how long I might be unable to do physical things in the kitchen? Google says up to 6 weeks?
