frown Hope y'll get well soon. The only consolation I suppose is think how much worse you'd be suffering if you'd not had all your covid and flu vaccinations to protect you from the lurgey. With them at least you are still well enough to use the internet etc.

Just ignore him, he’s one of those who lives 20 miles down a rabbit hole and it’s all “their” fault and “they” are out to control us all. I think he truly believes nobody ever gets ill ever and if you do now, it’s because you got 5G nanobots injected into you. They completely miss the fact that they’re actually the virus infecting every and any thread where health gets discussed.

confused What on earth are you babbling on about? Are you feeling okay? Surely being up to date with all the available vaccinations gives you the best protection against the lurgeys so for those who have had them, they would be a lot worse without them.

You’re a Covid obsessive and a regular contributor to that cesspit. Few other people who are having serious discussions about their own health need to read your nonsense.

I occasionally chime in with a sarcastic comment usually in response to the frankly absurd claims made by regular contributors in other threads - none of which make me a "Covid obsessive". I would argue that the "covid obsessives" are those who claim that covid is long since over and have moved on, yet spend all their time in the various threads talking about it confused

Anyway, this thread isn't about Covid. If you wish to discuss or debate that then there are other threads available for you to do just that so rather than following me around and stalking me how about you jog on?

Yeah let's not talk about Covid despite sufferers of the "latest awful lurgey" most likely having Covid. rolleyes

Covid is over, even the news have been saying it's just basically seasonal 'flu now. Hence why if you have all your shots then you'll be best protected and won't feel as bad.

Minimiser misinformation that will, in the long term, lead to poor health or worse for large numbers of people.

I'm into my 3rd month now, had it on my chest for the last 6 weeks or so, 2 types of antibiotics, a clear chest X-ray, and I'm still coughing, and 80% deaf too frown

I recognise that one unfortunately, been the same. Sinuses and chest by turn and together at times. And the bloody awful cough… finally seems to be on the way but I’m not holding my breath

Nobody around me seems to be catching it, though?

I am today enjoying my first cold since COVID. Not quite quick enough with the First Defence. Mind you, it started with gastric issues, so I suppose it could BE COVID.

Interesting post as it seems very similar to my ailment.
Three weeks ago I had an awful head cold, blocked sinuses, earache, toothache etc. That cleared after two weeks but has left me with a cough and a terrible shortness of breath (also tinnitus). GP did a covid test and found I was positive, also sent me for a chest X-ray and it shows very slight shadowing on the lungs. Currently on antibiotics.

Oddly, nobody around me seems to be picking it up, other than the usual week long winter cold!?

My turn to have it now.
Started strangely, Sunday afternoon my left leg kept having a feeling of giving way suddenly and generally feeling off it
Sunday eve a severe sore throat appeared out of nowhere.
Went to work Monday, got home feeling lousy, every bone in my body aching like mad and very very tired.
Took myself off to bed and still there Thursday morning.
Sore throat has been constant, headaches and sinus pressure come and go.
Im either shivering with cold or sweating profusely...full change of bedding twice last night.
Now coughing badly which has just started.
All ive eaten since Sunday is 4 slices of toast.
Struggling to swallow.

I had that on Boxing day, had to go to A&E because I was struggling to breathe and I'm relatively young at 32.
Antibiotics cleared it up in a week or so, but it really is nasty.

I now have one of those 24hour sickness bugs courtesy of my 2 year old. Sick, ste and lack of appetite. Yay
