Totally positive.

My glass is always half full and the thoughts of strangers are both helpful and humbling.

More from the other side.

All scrubbed up and ready to go down #taketwo.

Nerves aplenty.
Try not to be nervous. They're brilliant at what they do. Positive thoughts, please.

Speaking of which, there are plenty of positive thoughts coming your way from the PH Collective this morning.

Seconded. Good luck. Looking forward to hearing from you in a few days.

It will all go well....

Thinking of you this morning and remembering my own operation a few years ago.

Just thinking about you, silverthorn.

Sorry to hear you're in pain. Are you still in Intensive Care? They should be all over you with pain relief.

Are you on intravenous pain relief with a button to boost the dose?

If so, they are keen for you to use it.

And don't keep it yourself. Tell them you're in pain. They don't don't give out bravery awards.

2nd that. Pain relief helps rest, rest helps recovery. Oramorph (sp) was good stuff iirc.

Glad to hear you are now post op. Don't be brave, go for the drugs. Plenty of options. No one will think bad of you. I had them all.

How are you doing, st?

Are they marching you up and down the corridor insisting it's good for you?

And keep going with the breathing exercises. They will turn up at your bed at some point to measure how hard you can blow. My test was feeble and I wished I'd exercised more and tried harder.

Are you on top of the pain yet?

Yep, I remember the little ping pong ball machine!

My breathing took a while to come back properly.
