I`ll have a go, but its going to be a side project, as part of my 5 day split.

Just got the scales, and did a press up on them, 64kg at the top, 68kg at the bottom, i`ll have a see how many i can do in a minute, i think 12-13 before lactic acid puts a stop to it.

Is anyone willing to keep this updated with progress?

Thats the last time i do anything ive read on the internet, that was agony, my delts are very pumped too.

I got 26 then fell on my face hehe

The amusing part was trying to get up, i usually push myself up onto my knees, but flopped over when i tried.

I think i could better this with a few breathing changes, 30 may be on the cards.

I once played poker betting on pressups. I lost by 150 pressups. I got about 40 of them done before I collapsed, and couldn't move my arms for a couple of days. Never again (I'm not the fittest person in the world, I'd have to admit)...

Was doing 100 a day a while back, in four lots of 25 with breaks in between. Much easier if you do them fast. 100 non stop looks hard but I might give this a go.

I try to maintain my age in press ups.

I am struggling at the required 53 now , but can squeeze them out.

Knocking them out in 25's to achieve a 100 shouldnt be a major task .

I usually do press ups whilst waiting for the kettle to boil

im probably good for about 40. 100 is going to be next to impossible with most body types.

80....ill try again after dinner, i used to do this regularly!
It takes a lot of commitment and time to get your body in good condition but once your there its a little easier to keep it so, although even easier to forget it and go to the pub/chippy/cake shop and before you know it your back to love handle world.

Could do it a few years back when I did muay thai, Sandy my teacher had the record for most in 60 seconds and was big on push ups.

Haven't tried recently, I'll give it a go...

I'm up for giving this a go as it seems simple enough. Can only manage 28 at present so plenty of room for improvement.
