Our second is due on 01/03/09; so that'll be a 2 year old and a new born in the Savaloy household then!

Congratulations everyone, daughter is now 2 months old (my first) but I thought I'd sneak into this thread anyway!

Try not to worry, it's great fun and nothing like all the horror stories people try to scare you with!

I'm only 23, but I'd rather be a young dad than an old one!

I have the same age gap between my two now age 1 and 2. It is very hard work but as the younger one starts to walk, talk etc you really do reap the benefits!

Its ok though and i only really struggle when they are ill together

Only things that worry me is 1) Child being born normal and 2) financial impact.

Alot of support from both familes, i think the only thing we need to buy is nappies, been giving everything else!

Oh good! I know it will be hard but I am really looking forward to it. If I knew how much fun kids would be, I would have had them years ago but I was put off by horror stories - silly me!!

My son will be doing GCSE's this year. It feels like yesterday that I was driving his mother to the QE in Brum for his birth.

Bah, I was 18 when our first came along (He's 9 in March), you'll be fine.

Congrats all, my only tip as a bloke would be to take a packed lunch with you when it's time. When our second came long he ended up causing a 24 hour labour, could I find anything to eat at 2am? Could I buggery.

Congratulations everyone. Little miss stifler (how wrong does that sound?) Was born on 07 oct last year. My only advice is take loads of pictures, they change so fast and you lose track of who came to see them. Seriously though, enjoy it. It will change your life for the better.

I might visit this thread soon to update you on my swimmers progress!

Oh, it's much worse than that - you'll have a baby to worry about too.

(PS Day before my birthday smile)
