Now thats real male grooming hehe

My main offender recently cracked right down the middle from top to bottom.

I'm going to try Rach*s Tea Tree Oil... if that fails I'll seriously think about having the bugger off.

Does sticking two fingers in a Mini Metro engine (whilst going), losing the end of one finger and mangling the other count?

If so, I have more than 1 biggrin

Odd question. How does it feel when you touch it?

I was thinking the same thing - when I've had things jab right under the nail it hurt like a bd! I can only imagine that what it feels like when you no longer have a nail.

I know. What causes an ingrown toenail? I think I want to avoid it.

Weird

at some points there is no feeling in it what so ever, I can stick a pin in it, and not feel a thing

Sliced my thumb straight down the middle about 7 years ago. Nail is still in two parts as i sliced the nail bed and it will never grow together apparently.

had 2 on my big toes, but they fell off with the help of a chiropodist who cut rather large holes down the side and stuck phenol soaked cotton buds down the holes

I avoid shorts and open footwear like the plague; nails shot to hell (no idea why) but that's not the worst part: I've a massive scar over my left knee from an accident involving a bowling ball 8 years ago (that hurt) and a massive scar on my right leg from where I smashed it to pieces skydiving last year (that hurt more).

Anyway, if it isn't the state of my toe nails or the sheer amount of metal in my legs that repulses people, I'm pretty sure their alblaster-white colouring will hehe

5 drops Lavender and 5 drops Roman Chamomile essential oils in 2 teaspoons of carrier oil (grapeseed/almond or sunflower oil) helps a lot with itching. Been using this on really itchy bits of eczema and it helps.

Mixing the essential oils with aloe vera gel would be good too as aloe vera is an anti-inflammatory and itchy stuff usually results in inflamed bits.

Had 4 ingrowing toenails on my big toes in my late teens (ie both sides of both big toes). Had them dealt with by a chiropodist clinic, who cut out 3 of the sides and just fixed the 4th. I have never known any pain comparable to the 4 local anesthetic needles into each toe (one of each was behind the nail...nnngh) in prep for the operations.

But hey, 15 years later and I've never had a problem since smile (had the nails cut down the edges, removed and then treated with some weird st that stopped it growing sideways)

I've used mine to threaten The Other Half before. She is paranoid that coming in close contact with it spread it onto her.

This quickly got infected, had to go to surgery to have toenails removed, got infected again, (and both times stunk to high heaven i mean absolutely disgusting) just as it seems its clearing up, in cambodia, i stub my toe so hard on a ledge, the toenail rips itself off completely, and rather worryingly there is another toenail underneath!!! but its all manky and black.

Honestly, its disgusting now.
Holy fk. I feel sick. yuckyuckyuck

Great post tho! thumbup
