Seriously thinking about getting a cheap auto. Any idea how long until I'll be able to use my left foot on a clutch? Won't know anything until I see the fractures guy...
depends on the break (see picture) and how quickly your body heals to thingsmine was a oblique break
I was off work for 11 weeks with my 5th Metatarsal (in a cast for 6 weeks then a AirCast for 4 more while building strength..then back to work)

Coincidently, earlier this afternoon I heard a thud closely followed by a cry of pain. Ran upstairs to find my wife keeled over, holding her foot, trying not to cry / throw up. She'd strided into the bedroom and caught her little pinky on the radiator pipe.
No hospital visit, although understandably, she's limping round at the moment and quite a bit of bruising is forming; strangely, the bruising is quite far back, about an inch behind the base of her litle toe.
Still, she'll survive..
Just walked into the bathroom and stood on her bad toe......ooops

I'm sure she appreciates the sympathy! No hospital visit, although understandably, she's limping round at the moment and quite a bit of bruising is forming; strangely, the bruising is quite far back, about an inch behind the base of her litle toe.
Still, she'll survive..
