Feeling as weak as a kitten atm though. Struggling massivly with DLs mainly, DL session today was hard and I'm just not lifting what I know I can. Heads all over the place and I'm messing up basics. I also weighed myself today; 82kg so I'm still losing weight. Need to add to my diet, but keep it clean. Might go through a hypertrophy phase if things don't improve to try and more rapidly put some some lean weight on.

DLs
3 x 3 at 190kg - felt dead easy so went to 195kg only for things to fall apart, at below 200kg!! frown I'm close to tears about this. I'd rather be fat and strong than lean struggling at these weights!
2 x 2 at 195kg - 2 was easy and then everything went to peices on the 3rd.
3 fking months ago I was 10 repping 200kg!!!

RDL
3 x 3 at 175kg

Bench press
3 x 3 at 120kg
1 x 2 at 125kg (wimped out because I didn't have a spotter and was feeling weak)
1 x 3 at 125kg (asked a kid to spot, did it easy - got annoyed about previous set!)

Chins
3 x 3 at 35kg
1 x 3 at 40kg
1 x 2 at 40kg

I don't think heat is helping. I did 240kg off floor then week after couldn't pull 180kg for 3!
Today has been really good for me though. 100kg log press easy. Really happy smile

Alright, alright; don't gloat!! wink

TBF If you take my bw as 82.5 kg (including clothes) and my single 3 rep max as 200kg (should be at least this, just for one set) then my strength to bw ratio is 2.4xbw, which is the same as 225kg for 3 at 83kg. Just shows how important bw is for a DL, but doesn't make me any happier!

If I could pull 2.4xbw I'd be pulling 348kg! Still 108kg off laugh

Nothing tonight as fell asleep and my alarm didn't go off so today was my day off, catch up on Sunday.

Have just signed up for another half marathon with how well last night went so will be doing the Robin Hood Half Marathon end of September.

Session 2 Week 10 - Day 3

Warmup - 6 minutes at 8.5mph treadmill.
Benchpress 3 x 3, 3, 2 - 90kg, 107.5kg, 117.5kg - failed on the last rep, clipped the squat rack on the way up which was stupid and got the bar stuck half way up after I corrected the positioning.
Military Press 5 x 10, 10, 10, 7, 5 - 42.5kg
Bentover Rows 5 x 10, 10, 10, 10, 9 - 77.5kg - set 3 and 4 were a little jerky so set 5 was much more controlled.
Cable Curl 3 x 10 - 62.5k
Tricep Rope Pulldown 3 x 10, 10, 5 - 30kg - going to be changing these to something else as soon as possible as soon to have gone a little backwards on is over the past few weeks.
Face pulls 3 x 10, 10, 7 - 75

Edit: oh and 16" biceps as well with a little pump smile.

hehe fit very angry and had already taken my caffeine. Went home and the gym is 20 mins away so didn't have time for a 40 min round trip and then a session before the fun closes so I took I the dogs out for a couple of hours to try and make use of the caffeine.

Id have done it in my pants- 400mg of caffeine would make me anxious without movement! Though recently I've taken 500mg and gone back to sleep in the morning a few times recently- a precursor to cutting back for a while.......

Just train in your trousers. I don't wear shorts. I figure that if I can climb in combats often scaring myself whilst hanging in an odd-shaped pull up position, I can do any other sport in them.

I split most garments that go below the knee...unless they're made of Lycra. Curse of the mobile.

Firstly, whether or not you scare yourself is utterly irrelevant to what clothing someone else should wear!

Secondly, you climb indoors right? Presumably top rope or sport-lead stuff? Ergo, nowt to be afraid of. Now, if you were soloing or doing hard trad, then you'd have earned the tight to be scared biggrin

biggrin 6a indoors aint worth a 4a outdoors!
