Gotta say, after 30+ years of being a 'born smoker', it's been a remarkably simple affair.
I don't even think of myself as an ex-smoker; I'm definitely a non-smoker.
My phone's been replaced and didn't bother installing any of the 'days since quit' apps, but since 30 December last year. All good here. thumbup

8 months for me now, still smoke free. In fact I can't stand the smell now. Sucks to be a smoker I reckon.

6 weeks now. Since I've been running for 4 weeks now as well, I don't feel the need to smoke one bit.

Let's hope it'll stay that way....

After having a relapse after 9 months and starting again while on holiday in Italy, it's day two of not smoking again. Feeling OK, didn't bother putting a patch on.

9 months being smoke free, now gotta go through all this again. frown

Yeah, we both folded in Italy together, all that cheap (decent) wine and cheap Marlboros. She's on day two as well now, and yes it will be a lot easier this time, I keep telling ourselves we've only been smoking for two months. hehe

I don't think reading the book will be necessary to be honest, we had a relapse and have seen the error of our ways. smile

Technically, yes smile

Although not buying them and not having them control my life was my main driver in quitting.

I relapsed at the weekend. frown

I couldn't resist. It was just there looking at me beckoning me over, enticing me, loving me. I didn't do it for long, does it count? I'm pretty sure the neighbour saw me as I went into the garden, as you do.
It just feels so smooth and, if I may say, sexy!
So, I've put her underwear back in the draw where it will stay now. Never again!

Anyway, smoking. Yes, still quit 340 days now! bounce

So. I'm deleting the iPhone app and I'll not be posting again in this thread, or the new 2012 one for that matter, after today.

Goodbye. wavey

Congrats, GTIR (even though you may not read this...!).

I'm only a couple of days behind you - I stopped on 1/1/11, so my year will be up in 4 days... Congratulations to anyone else who's still stayed smoke-free. Long may it continue for you all.
