Buying an Evora
Discussion
There are two aftermarket ones I've looked at so far (but there are probably more) -
Although, I'll listen to the Lotus one again and see. When I heard it on the 2012 range, I wasn't convinced.
And some more...
- The one that Lotus do, which sounds a bit tame to me but - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZrx2lPB4aw&fea...
- One that Larini do - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nGNVhK6x1i8 - which sounds much better.

Got a list of all the ones I know of here: http://wiki.seloc.org/a/Exhausts_-_EvoraI'll add the Kreissieg when I get a chance.

I spoke to Kreissieg direct about a UK group buy, and think they offered about 15% discount if there was a few orders

Wow Alex, your Sag looks amazing!
Did you buy it from PH's?
The Evora looks so plain next to the Sag in those pics. Shocked to hear that it's more expensive to insure than a Sag too!

No, I bought it from Castle TVR in 2009. Originally, it was an iced titanium, standard wheel, 2005 Sagaris. Although it had had a
few little factory "specials" added for the first owner, it was fairly standard.
I've spent a few years, much research and a few bits of money turning it into the unique little beasty it is now. Not done anything
to the engine yet, but a 4.5s and Syvecs EMS will be next on the list in the next year or so.
As I said to the person I bought the Evora from, this is not a TVR Sagaris, but for what I need it for, it is a great car.
I've got a few ideas to "pretty up" the Evora, but I'll do those when I feel more like it...

I like the evora but seeing it next to the sag in those pics just make it look plain IMO. That's a credit to you and your sag. The colour is incredible. What have you done to the windowscreen to make it that colour or is that just trick camera / computer work?
I've been looking at the syvecs ecu too but that's a long way down the line yet. Can't justify the £3k outlay just yet.
Sorry for going off topic OP

The windowscreen effect I think was just lucky lighting on the day. That cascade colour tends to change depending on the level of light that hits it. Chatsworth last year was not the brightest of days and I think that plus the dark wall it was backed onto helped the nature of the picture greatly.
Ah, yes, and the fact that the top quarter of so of the windowscreen (as much as is legal anyway) is tinted a light smokey blue might help the colour effect as well.

Thanks. How many orders did they say they needed for the discount? 5k - even USD is a little rich for an exhaust system, but might consider it.The Larani system is here.
