So on the Evora the boards would be more of a cosmetic choice rather than offering any real benefits?

TBH we've got an 03 Boxster and its been just about perfect. They really are stunningly well built cars generally but a 911 Turbo is a different beast and using it hard, as with many similar cars, can lead to some big bills. Our Boxster hasn't been any more expensive to run than my old Elise but that's probably because the wife just tootles about in it.
