Most dealers are looking at increasing their Evora stock, JCT600 in Leeds recently contacted me to see if I would be interested in selling back my 2010 Evora NA to them...give Dan at JCT600 a call 01132440600 the'll pay a good price for the right car and the black/paprika colur combination is attractive.
I also agree with the previous comments, my next Lotus purchase would only ever be from a Lotus approved dealer.

I'm in the market for a MY12 N/A but there aren't too many around. I've heard from a few dealers that 90% of Evoras sold now are the S

Limited mileage is USA/Canada only.

It doesn't give potential buyers a lot of comfort to think that the only viable way they will sell their car further down the line is back to a main dealer...

Having just bought one, I looked at private and dealer cars. Dealer car gave me the comfort of a full check over, warranty and sale of gooss act.

Cost about £2k more from a dealer.

Its easy enouugh to sort finance without a dealer, in fact I got a much better deal aranging it myself

Thanks again guys for the info.

I'll certainly follow up some of your leads when I'm ready to sell. Also useful to hear what concerns a potential private buyer would have.

I think I would price it private at 39k asking price and see how you get on. I sold my N/A 2010 model private relatively easily on Pistonheads, it was well loaded with all options and low mileage, I got 31k for it if I recall correctly. 2 dealers also wanted it, Murray would buy it off me to sell on and JCT600 Leeds would sell it on SOR.

Regarding MY12 cars, don't forget that the preceding year Lotus produced very few cars and by the time the MY12 cars came through sales were very low indeed, hence the lack of these cars. Earlier year cars are more plentiful because there were lots of ex management cars and sales were, relatively, high.

I had a call off a dealer today asking if I wanted to sell mine due the lack of any around at the moment. The bid wasn't too bad but I am sticking for now. There does seem to be a distinct lack of cars out there at the moment and second values seem solid. Although, the 111R I sold 18 months ago looks like it would cost me more to buy back at the moment.

Mine is on Pistonheads as well as I'm moving away again. It's up through a well known main dealer, or it could always be bought direct from me for a few grand less. biggrin
