Dave the Trimmer does the Evora
Discussion
Dave the trimmer at Milton Keynes, nice guy and very helpful.
I wanted to make the interior of the Evora look and feel a bit more GT than sports racer. Out with the ally tat and in with new seat trim, plush carpets and a darker dash.
I sent some photogs and bmp childlike drwgs to Dave who productionised them to this for me on the seats.
I also have a problem with the door armrest, my bony elbow gets sore on a long drive so I asked Dave to replace my bit of gash foam practice, and he did this for me.
Great job.
He also removed the dash, hvac console and door pull covers and sent them down to www.wickedcoatings.co.uk at Poole.
I spoke to Lyle at wicked and explained that I had a black and grey leather trim theme in the car nad he suggested a marbled finish he'd just put in a customers private jet! I looked at a sample and went for it.
Final thing was I had scraped the wheels on the eurotunnel ( top tip for low profile tyres- use the high load bay on the tunnel)
Dave recommended his local guys http://www.rimtec.co.uk/ who did this PDQ, thanks to Dave and Adam for working together on removal of wheels etc. while the car was there. I wanted a bright silver finish that went down the inside faces of the spoke/webs, rather than the gunmetal finish of the diamond cut finish.
Great job, tyres removed, stripped stoved and refinished, replaced on car all for 50 quid a wheel.

There's a nice white and black interior on this thread around page 9 iirc. that might give you some more inspiration. I had a quick look for it but couldn'tt find it again.
