OK, the benefit of others.... It's not an Evora 400 per say...
It's an early Evora S that has a 400 engine/gearbox from what I can tell.

So, if you are after a lower than average price S, then it might be a good buy.
If you want a half price 400, it's not the one you're looking for biggrin

With the gear linkages done? brake upgrades done? Geo altered accordingly?

Not sure its a simple as just transplanting engine and gearbox, didn't Lotus have to make some changes to spring and damper rates etc to take the additional power?

The car is a 2011 S that Lotus used as the development car for the 400. This isn't an advert so ill bit go through the whole story, but it isn't just a transplanted engine.

It's good value as it is not a showroom example but drives as well as you'd expect a factory Lotus to!

All fingers and thumbs on a phone typing that! Just to set the record straight, this is not a DIY conversion, this car has had one owner, Lotus, and was one of the development cars for the 400 (we have a manual one too but that won't be ready for another 5-6 weeks and is provisionally spoken for). I'd prefer to keep it if I could but the second car needs £'s to complete and so I'm reluctantly probably going to have to part with it. It isn't advertised anywhere as trying to explain what it is and why it is so well priced would be a nightmare, but amongst learned types here, I thought I'd mention it! I have sent details to those that have asked and as already stated, it is a cost effective way into an S, let alone the 400 added benefits!

Sadly, I think it will need too much attention for me. I will just need to be able to jump in and drive

Looking to make the move to an Evora 400, so mine is now listed on Ph:
http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/l...

2010 Lotus Evora NA (276BHP)
First registered by Lotus Cars themselves in 2010, it was owned and maintained by Lotus as a management car for 2 years, then bought by a private owner in 2012 who traded it against a new Evora S SR at Murray Lotus in late 2014. I purchased the Evora in April 2015.
It has now done 43,500 miles, last serviced by Lotus Silverstone in March 2016. Evora has a full Lotus history, including Lotus directly, Oakmere Lotus and most recently Lotus Silverstone.
MOT until October 2016.
N
Full Spec:
Solar Yellow
3 owners
2+2
Close Ratio Gearbox
MY12 gear cables fitted in 2014 (under warranty)
Sport Pack - Cross Drilled Discs, Painted Calipers, Sport Button (Raises Rev Limit, changes throttle response)
Tech Pack - Rear Camera, Parking Sensors, Sat Nav
HomeLink Option (3button garage/gate opener)
Lotus Lightweight Forged Alloys (As new, unkerbed)
Lotus Sports Exhaust
2015 Pioneer F970-DAB (Latest Maps, DAB, Apple CarPlay)
Sport Racer Gearknob (updated Aluminium Ball version)
"Heritage Edition" Front Seats (Leather with Alcantara Centres and Yellow Stitching)
New steering wheel with yellow stitching to match seat stitching
Updated Black Lotus & Evora Badges on rear
Updated Black Rear light Bezels
New Front Brake Discs (Oct 2015)
New Brake Pads all round (Oct 2015)
New K&N Panel Filter (March 2016)

I would like to purchase a new Evora 400, so I'm not looking for a quick bargain sale.
I've got the car to how I like it with the seats, updated stereo etc, so I'm more than happy with the car, just looking at the chance to get a newer version.

Saw your ad the other day. Looks like a nice one

I am struggling to find the right Evora to buy, as this rate I might end up with an AM V8 Vantage.

I want a S post 2010 with all three packs and not in black

Now reduced to £29,000 and would take an offer.
I've arranged a p/ex but seems a shame when the dealer will stick it up for £2k more than I'm selling for today!

Market seems a bit slow at the minute. Mines been up for sale for a few months now and not much interest. Weather is probably not helping things.
