You can have a MY12 with those seats and wheels, just most have the MY12 Premium Sport interior pack and optional Diamond Cut wheels.
The steering wheel is the easiest thing to check visually. This has the pre MY12 wheel. (Of course it's also the easiest thing to change)

Excellent, I knew it was worth checking with the experts. I was already dreaming of whacking a PH sticker on its rump (in white to contrast with the black) but will now go hunting for another, I do enjoy chasing cars (in real life, not the tv show on History channel).
I wouldn't rule it out. If it has the sports exhaust and hopefully a Decat then that's £1k worth of upgrade. Get the right tyres put on it. Otherwise it's fully loaded and merely a question of price, and it's a bit step at present.

The 'right' tyres? According to their ad, it has Pirellis on it. These are the OEM option.

However, Michelin PSS are a much better performing tyre (and now the OEM selection for the 400).

FWIW, all MY12 seats are different, not just Premium seats. (Check the part numbers on DeRoure, if you must). And I was referring to the (skinny) steering wheel, not the road wheels.

That is 100% not an MY12 car.
My mistake. smile

Hello and cheers from France,

What do you think about that one ?

http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/l...

to be used in France, so steering wheel the right side.

The vendor do not mention CR Gearbox, so I guess it is not present; And as it seems, it is rather a must have.

Thank you in advance

Picture 6 at the top of the wheel it is a Goodyear. The 400 has a different suspension set up. There are plenty of threads about the handling characteristics being upset by the use of alternative tyres. IIRC the PSS needed over inflation to stabilise the handling

It looks an utter bargain.

As it's an S then CR box would be standard.

Very cheap.

How's the Green Dragon these days? Do miss a summers day in that pub once in a while!

Nice upgrade to a GTE lick

Same old, same old at the Green Dragon. It's been under new management since early last summer, but you wouldn't notice that anything's changed. PM me if you're in the vicinity and we can compare Evoras (ooh err).

Well, the PSS on my Evora S seem to be working perfectly fine at 'normal' pressures. wink

Apologies in advance for the thread resurrection, but seeing as my search returned this thread I thought its worth a post to get an updated view/perspective from you knowledgeable folk.

Potentially in the market for a Evora S IPS (MY12+), and there is a price delta between the 400 and Evora S of around 15-20k (based on classifieds). If anything it appears that the release of the 400 has firmed up the pricing for the Evora S/Evora NA to some extent too...I know its a rare car as far as cars come but there isn't much out there for sale (IPS, My12+, Supercharged)...

So what's the current view around how far down the 400 will go, just a view as I know there are no Deloreans here with a working flux capacitor (otherwise please share the next lotto numbers? :P )

The previous 30-40k for NA and S models seems to have been the bottom, however I'm keen to get a view on where the 400 might land as currently I'm undecided between pulling the trigger on a Evora S now, or wait to see what happens with the 400..if I'm patient i'll wait but sometimes easier said then done!

where do you guys think the 400 will end up by the end of this year? get the crystal balls out chaps...

I reckon the lowest 400 this year will still be north of £55k

I just paid £43k is for a 2014 Sportsracer S.

I reckon the lowest a post 2012 car will get over 4 years is probably £30-33k, and then it would probably be highish mileage

blueg33, parking the price discussion to the side for a second, I take it yours is the blue Evora 2014 that I've seen in the other thread...stunning colour! Looks amazing, hope you're enjoying it (silly question I know!)

In fact was just speaking with Amiee at Silverstone Lotus, no pre-owned ones in at the moment but is trying to tempt with into the new racing green one they have!

realistically the Evora S is the goal, 2012+...I need to go and have a look at one to make sure that my girls can actually fit in the back (still in carseats so those need to fit too, making a big assumption upfront :P)

Yes its my car in the other thread, its my second Evora the first was a 2010 n/a with all 3 packs, again sold to me by Aimee. I haven't driven the new one much yet as it arrived on the 23rd December and Christmas driving has all been with family.

Silverstone do have a manual S in burnt orange. Aimee always tries to sell you the most expensive, they have a nice 400 in Gulf colours too.

I am sure your kids will fit in the back, my daughter is 16 and in the summer I took her and her friend to the school prom, her friend is also 16 and was ok in the back for a 30 minute drive. I also use it on the school run when a 13 year old fits in the back. As long as they are under 5ft tall it should be ok.

Appreciate the info thanks g33. I'm sure they will fit in the back without car seats, its just at present there are some new laws coming into force in March 17 around car seats, and with mine being 2 and 3yrs old, I just need to check, seen a few posts suggesting it will be fine, so that will do for me smile

Seen the burnt orange one in the trader, looks nice...I'm looking for an Auto (IPS). As is always the case I'm supposed to still be in research mode with a view to pulling the trigger later on this year but never works that way! biggrin

Hope you have many miles of fun in the new Evora! All the best beer

Mileage is low, but I agree. The S IPS at Silverstone RHD with similar mileage is cheaper
