Just finished a few upgrades to the Evora that I will then add to the Sagaris.

  • Fitted an Android head unit to replace to stock Alpine one
  • Fitted a super-mini OBD2 dongle
  • Installed Torque pro
Result - Able to display full runtime engine/ECU information on custom HU display, ECU graphs, engine logging etc.

Next...

  • Installing g-sensors and integrating those into HU as well.

Pumpkin - you can get them from Amazon. Although plenty of other Android HU out there as well.

Ah, interesting.

I've got a Pumpkin unit fitted to my other car and was planning on fitting one to my Evora. However, when I measured the front of the Pumpkin unit, it seemed to be a couple of mm bigger than the aperature in the Evora dash. Did you have any issues with fitting it?

No, it required a bit of dash trimming, but nothing more than a few mm either side.

Wiring was a hassle as the looms are different, so needs a bit of creative interfacing

Thanks for the details.

I don't suppose that you took any photos as you went along, did you? Or do you have any other sort of guide that might help? It would be wonderful if you did. PM/email me if you'd prefer.

Sorry, no photos. I have so many projects on the go that I only photo the major ones. This was a mere tweak biggrin

Once it is finished (and I remember), I'll try and get a summary of the work done on this thread.

Brilliant, thanks.

Last question (for the time being!): which Pumpkin unit did you go for?

Last job is to get g-sensors operating on the mirror. Should just be a software install, but not had a chance to test it out yet
as need to see if the mirror needs additional sensors hooking in.
