Hi, a long time ago before kids I used to have a s2 111s which was a brilliant car and I wish I had kept longer.
I now really fancy buying an Evora just to have for a year, perhaps two. Budgets going to be at the bottom end ie 30k, fairly happy with the running costs etc. It would be a second car but not garaged unfortunately.
Now I know this is kind of a how long is a piece of string question but... How long did people take to sell there evoras. Did anyone manage to sell privately. Did you have to px it, or could you have just sold to a dealer and had the cash. Finally did you take much of a hit in doing so. Or were the dealers reasonable.
Thanks.

I bought my MY11 Evora S in 2013 for £36K and p/x'd it to a dealer for £32K this month.

However, last year I asked a Lotus Dealer if they wanted to buy it off me and they offered £25K and that was with 15000 miles!!!

I bought a low mileage N/A Launch Edition from a non-specialist dealer for 29K in 2013 and sold it privately for the same amount 18 months later. It went within days to the first interested party, after mentioning it on another forum. I didn't even need to publish an advert.

It's amazing how good ones just refuse to drop much below this price point, despite the additional age and miles put on them. Clearly the demand is there and the supply remains low.

Thanks for sharing your experience. On a side note what colour combination was that?

Sold mine via a dealer on SOR a few weeks ago around the 30k mark. Took about 2 - 3 months to sell so a relatively slow process (certainly compared to my old Exige that sold in 24 hrs via SOR with the same dealer).

That was a white LE with all the packs, 37k miles, sports exhaust and a few other niceties like latest head unit, gear knob, SR wrap etc.

Sold my original Evora via Lotus Silverstone on SOR. Sold pretty quick from memory.
