I agree. No outward sign its a 100k car. Go and take a good look.
Also very happy with LS, just bought from them and cant fault the service and honesty.
You can see from the frequent and regular visitors how they do business.

Was the 2nd owner the race school?. I've ragged their vantage around and that was on 100k miles. Needs to be more like £20k on that mileage but that just my view.

No. According to Matt a private owner. The race school cars I have looked at are usually well under 20k miles and tatty. This is 100k miles and immaculate outside.

They were quite clear that it was two private individuals not the race school when i asked and nothing to suggest otherwise. Oil cooler did make me wonder though, but i do believe them from the way they dealt with my enquiry and from what others have said about Lotus Silverstone and Aimee.

Mine is on 74k miles and it drives like it did at 20k miles. Interior has worn well except the gear knob which is being replaced next week.

Just toying with selling, test driving a car tomorrow as it happens
The leather gear knob is dreadful anyway. Swapped mine to the later alloy one.

If you have worn one of those down in 70k miles you must have hands of granite.

I have to say I agree with the price. I would personally add £5k to the budget and buy one with 30 - 40k.

Not only that, but given the OP's proposed mileage, at the time of moving it on I would say you would get buttons for one with 150k on the clock as against 80k.

Brought mine for £31k with 26,000 miles on her 4 months ago, now on 30,000 miles from a stealership. Miles = discount especially when a dealer will only offer £26k or less on a 30,000 miles car now . No one will want one with that mileage at such a high price but good luck to them for trying. Evoras with much lower mileage on Pistonheads/Autotrader bouncing around the 29k mark currently.

This time last year dealer offerred me £26k for my 56k mile car. Mine does have all 3 packs which appears to be unusual if my search is anything to go by.

Have you had to do much to your car over that mileage? I keep being tempted by an Evora but really don't want to spend over £30k.

I have replaced discs and pads once at 70k miles, one door lock mechanism at 50k miles (common fault) £250, new gas struts for the boot at 70k mils £30, headlamp re lacquer at 70k miles £210, new gearknob (leather worn through) at 70k miles, front droplinks at 60k miles £120 ish

Otherwise just regular service every 9000 miles, servicing costs about the same as my Audi A6, so not too bad. I have purchased plenty of rear tyres smile

Our 100k mile Outback eats a lot more suspension links and bushes and costs more to run in terms of servicing, parts, fuel and road tax.

I do try and look after the interior leather so the seat bolster only shows minimal wear.

So my view, is that I haven't had to do much, certainly no more than other daily drive cars and much, much less than my Tuscan which never cost less than £1400 at each of its 6000 mile services.

My car is now on 74k miles and I will be selling, just waiting for a car expected into my dealer that I have first dibs on smile

Seller stated the service history is good but it's clearly missed a services and not had an oil change in near 20k miles.

Yes, not ideal. New clutch is good though. Toyota service for these engines is alot more than lotus interval.

This Evora has a pretty much exemplary service history as far as I can see, yes it lapsed in the last but one but surely splitting hairs on a car that has done this mileage yet with a full Lotus service history?! I'd rather buy one with gentle motorway mileage like this and a lovely history than one that has done less mileage but with a sketchy history.

If they still have it in the Spring and Elise prices keep going up I might make a cheeky offer. Good looking car. Not sure how much it'd be worth with 160k on it once I've had my fun though. £10-£15k and a looong wait to find a buyer?

FWIW, the seller has no intention of budging on his £24k price.

Interestingly within approx 24hrs of going on sale that Evora has now sold.
