Yes. Looks fine to me. I had an aquamarine one. Lovely colour. Just check it’s got at least the Sports pack. At that price, you could even save some money for a potential clutch change. MOT history looks good too.

Have you been to see it?
It's been floating around for ages... On paper looks like a bargain.
Is it actually a private sale? The paper mats in the footwells suggest not.
Does it even exist or is it someone just trying to drum up interest?
2+0 does put some people off....

It does look cheap but whilst it has premium there is no tech pack and I wonder whether it might also lack Sport which is pretty much essential and a bit of a sales killer I imagine? - that's the only explanation I can think of as to why it's stuck around as otherwise it looks nice (though not personally convinced about the oyster interior accents)

I recently sold my early N/A 2+0 for 4k more within 24 hours of advertising it so I think that particular 'thing' may be overplayed. If the car is right in all other respects I don't think it matters to most as 2+0 config arguably makes it a 'proper' sports car - just think of it as an advance version of the Emira!

They’re OK for (com)pliant pre-teen kids only. As ill luck would have it my two kids decided to grow like bean poles after I bought one, so it’s no longer used for family trips.

My 5 year old regularly goes in the back of mine. Was a bit of a pain when he was younger due to the size of car seat needed but once he was over 15kg it became easier. To me it’s one of the real benefits to the Evora.

I must be one of the few that could live without the Sports Pack. The extra burble on the switchable exhaust was nice when pootling, but I much preferred the more linear throttle response with the button off.

I am sure you can live without the Sports pack but for me the Sport mode should have been the default/standard setting as the car was so much better with it engaged - in fact it became a pain switching it on everytime I drove the car.

And of course there's more about it than just a burble - much improved throttle sharpness, increased rev limit and reduced interference from the traction aids. Oh, and drilled discs if that's your thing.

I used to turn on the Sports button only when pottering around town to listen to the exhaust, then turn it off as soon as any proper driving happened. For me the slightly higher rev limit and TC/ESP thresholds were far outweighed by the highly artificial-feeling and non-linear throttle map which massively reduces your ability to modulate the throttle.

I'm regularly taking 11 & 9 yr old out in mine but suspect I'll only be able to do it for another year and the 11 yr old is on the shorter side. Also, very much depends on the height of those in the front. If you're over 6' you've no chance of getting anyone in the back as front seats will be too close to rear, if not touching.

love the Aquamarine but, for me, had to be a 4 seat S with leather. Lot of people won't buy private either.

That's really odd, are you sure the car was okay?

I've only driven one but I have no reason to think it was unusual. I've had the same experience with other cars - I don't get along with artificial throttle maps that put a huge amount of throttle into the first inch of travel. This is no different to over-servo'ed brakes and IMO are particularly unsuited to a Lotus whose primary controls should be as natural and linear as possible.

The problem with the Evora is very few were made and changes happened every year so it’s very hard to compare like-for-like.

For example my N/A MY13 car had a very different (and fantastic) factory exhaust sound compared to the muted earlier cars. Mine also seemed to have a very light flywheel and the throttle map was excellent in normal and Sport.

I’ve read several reviews of the latest 410 engined Evora and Exige where the throttle mapping seems to have taken a backward step again, I guess due to emissions rules. I hope they get on top of that for the Emira.
