Oh, fortunately the dealer is responsible for paying all taxes here.
@SapphireBlack here are some pix of Suede Tex I found on an used car site.

I understand, did you save a lot of money by importing?
Mine is chrome orange with 19/20" wheels, interiour is suede tex as yours. It's a 2+2 with almost all options (except retractable mirrors). Just got my license plates, the car should arrive at the dealer tomorrow. I wish it wasn't required to have a license plate at the front ...
I'm really excited what the color will look like in reality, only know it from photos on the internet. There was a burnt orange Evora at the dealer when I ordered, but I wasn't convinced, it doesn't look so well when the sun is not shining IMO.

Well, I did not save money by importing from Lux, but the next french dealer is in Paris (400 Km), the German one 200, and my good Lotus Lux (since 30 years!!!)...80Km!!! = No doubt for me.
Chrome Orange Suede and 19"+20" is a very nice color combo, it had could be my choice, but the dealer convinced me to get a little bit more decent color, my first order was Storm Titanium, but (see my posts)the second is a good compromise in my eyes between your flashy one and a little bit effaced grey; that's why Laser Blue.
So, have a memorial good day on friday, and we'll both send pics as soon as possible on the forum.
Nice times to come

My Evora S arrived on Friday.
Great car! I don't have to tell you that steering and ride is just great. In comparison to my 370Z everything feels *much* lighter. I have never owned an Elise but I've driven an Elise for quite some time and the Evora feels very similar, except being stronger and much more comfortable.
So, but that's what you know already.
I've read some complaints on the interiour in car mags. IMO the interiour is great. Some buttons are hard to read while driving but that's something I get used to, and it's not a criteria at all in a sports car. I would not, never, prefer the interiour of a Porsche, Audi, whatever. It looks great and it's just an authentic Lotus interiour.
Can't tell too much about the Engine, still breaking in. I've driven 380km the last two days and I limit myself to 4000RPM. Dealer told me that there is a noticeable increase in power after 500km. However it's just easy to drive and be fast enough <4000RPM in regular driving. You can sometimes hear the supercharger a bit, but it's not loud or annoying.
Also gearchange is just very good as of now, but I haven't changed gears at high revs, so let's see.
Here are some pix (you have to click twice to see them in high resolution).

What a car!
It's almost too smooth and soft to give "pure" sportscar feeling like my Elises end Europas...
You can use it every day for bringing bred and croissants, and blast the C roads when you go home!
I NEVER drove a car with such a balance and comfortable suspensions, AND real sport-engaged chassis.
Incredible...
The engine is grunty and waiting to let me push it after carefully running in after 2000Km.
No niggles yet, but it's a Lotus, so wait and see...
I hope the pics will be good, because the colors from my phone aren't so "real"

Did the issue with the first gear go away?
I have reached 1700km now and am waiting for my dealer to change my oil next week.
Two small issues will also be fixed:
Once the yellow wrench symbol indicated that there's some non-emission relevant electronic problem, but the car drove just normally, so it shouldn't be an issue.
The rubber seal above the A-pillar (outside) sometimes gets lose at about 180+km/h.
How about your mileage / fuel consumption? My car used about 15-16l/100km during break in, mixed highway and city, but driving quite fast (below 4000RPM)
Looking forward to more pics from your car!

The major issue with my first gear will be fixed by the dealer next wednesday; he called me yesterday after mailing to Lotus, another S had the same problem as mine, and they told them what to do. (They will resolve it from the inside (!?) passing behind the parking brake after removing the console...carefully!) Hope so!
I got the car with 15,9 L/100, but after 400 km, Autobahn/130 Kmh - Road, it falled down to 11,6.
I'll report another time after the first service.
Did you click on the posted pic ? They are 3 other to enlarge, so the quality will be a little bit better.
Have a good time

You could eventually mail me directly to not ennoying the forum with our blabla, and my german is better than my english...
