How many Million euro's to change all the road signs?
For 4 kph. What a waste of time and tax payers money. And the Gubberment are moaning there's no money in the coffers.

Not at all just after living here in Spain you start to understand the corrupt lack of morality in Spanish Politicians and their hanger on/brown enveloppe job mates.And I wonder if that figure is + or inclusive of backhanders?

Mate of mine wanted some permissions. The mayor said " it is very difficult - especially as I've always wanted a Mercedes Benz - but as a public servant I'll never have one"
So my mate buys a 190E scrapper, parks it round the corner, gives the Mayor the keys and he signs on the dotted line. When he saw the car he said " I wasn't expecting one quite like that...." My mate was hugely amused - the €1000 was much less than the cost of the delays there would have been otherwise

I wont go into the grief I had getting permissions for a reform. It's still too painfull to think about three years after.
