Don't worry - it is all part of a cunning plan to lull the opposition into not taking us seriously.......thumbup

It's working!

You need to finish 11th or lower, to surpass Chelsea's unwanted record of the worst ever PL title defence.

Awful display. To be honest I saw this coming, and you know what I reckon has been our downfall compared to last year? That crap ICC. We look no where near as fit as the start of last season and new signings need time to gel.

Hopefully huth back will settle the defence and clvardybwill calm down. Musa looked promising but he needs to be more selfish rather than always trying to folding the final pass.

It's tough being Champs.
Everyone wants to beat you. The team becomes ever so slightly complacent.
Just wait until the fixtures start to pile up, especially if you have a good domestic cup run.
No more 7 days to prepare and rest.
Things will improve but it's not easy to retain a championship.

Agree with Rib; they're not fit. TBH I'm not sure how playing Barca & PSG prepares you for a trip to Hull on the opening day anyway - I was hoping the conditioning work they did in the LA heat would compensate, but it clearly hasn't.

We can't keep going on about Kante - none of the other teams has Kante either . Well, one frown

Agree, even though he had been dieting, working out and his pants were designed by Paul Smith.
Huge credit to him though

Just goes to show what being the underdog can do.

Decent CL draw - Porto, Brugge, Copenhagen - gives us a reasonable chance of progressing beyond group stage.

Or a chance for the inevitable naysayers to say we'll be made mugs, lose, implode and get relegated as usual.

I genuinely believe we'll finish top 2 in that group. Even if we finish 3rd, we'll go through to the Europa League and have another tasty away.

Booked up on the Eurostar for the Bruges away game, my first ever European Leicester game. Unfortunately due to work commitments I'm not allowed any holidays this year after September, so going to the others is not going to happen.

Amartey was unreal, hopefully he can keep that kind of performance up.

Agreed, he had a great game.

Previously I thought he was taking a bit of time to get up to the speed of the game, was tending to rush his passes and therefore either pick the easiest simple pass to get rid or give the ball away.

On Saturday though he looked so calm and assured on the ball and was stroking it around beautifully. Admittedly Swansea didn't offer the strongest opposition, so hopefully he can continue at that level against better teams and players.

Better performance by all over the last 2 games after the shocker against Hull. Although I will caveat that with how disappointing Mahrez has been so far imo, mind you I've said that on occasion before and then looked like a tt when he's left 3 defenders for dead and curled one in from the edge of the box smile

Not buying a replacement defensive midfielder is going to hurt us this season I think. Defence is having to work more and mahrez is exposed.

Not a good start, hope things pick up.

Trying to think who would be as effective as the little man though, can't think of (m)any ...

Teams just never got to compile many attacks last season because he seemed to stop them all ...

The only thing more annoying than losing at Anfield like that, is the unbridled delight of every fecking pundit, now that the Premier League has seemingly returned to normal.

Yesterday, it was like there was no other games going on outside of Manchester...

Kante is pretty much irreplaceable.

On top of that, the rest of the Premier league have worked us out. We were pretty much a one trick pony last season.

Now Vardy has to fight at least two off before he gets near the ball, Drinkwater doesn't seem awake yet, and Mahrez hardly gets a look in.

We'll be lucky to be top half at this rate.
