I still can't get over how these players screwed over Ranieri. Unless Shakespeare did suddenly come up with some revolutionary tactics and motivate these players.
They f**ked him over. Downed tools rather than work. I wonder if at the end of the season they will thank Claudio for what he has done for the club.

Also decided I hate Vardy even more now.

You'd hope the directors have a plan to financially penalise the players for costing them £3m in a settlement for Ranieri.

This is even more obvious than the Chelsea players trying to get Jose sacked.

Better than Arsenal have done in the last 7 years.
Don't belittle your achievement by using Arsenal as the yardstick.

Yep, enjoying the unlikelihood of it all, but can't bring myself to support this group of players unlike last season

I hope you lot get Bayern Munich and get smashed all over the place.

Not good what the players did to Ranieri.
I loved it when you won the league last season but I can't support yourselves with a sudden change in form immediately after Ranieri goes.

We're not there yet!
Well done, but I have to echo other posters, the sudden turn around in form doesn't sit easily with me.
And I think that Vardy is an unpleasant tt if I'm honest.

He fked himself over due to his poor decision making. Owners made the correct business decision as they have the clubs interest first which is to stay in the PL.

Really baffles me why people still can't understand this.

Phenomenal night, amazing atmosphere, great performance, who's next?

Without getting drawn into the rights and wrongs of CR's sacking, it's hard to question the owners decision when we can all see the result. He's not the first manager to be sacked, won't be the last, and it was the right decision for the club. Leicester fans were sad about it but have moved on, time for others to do the same imo.

Oh and yes Vardy can be a nasty little st, but he's our nasty little st. Love him laugh

BS. The players are the ones that got you into that situation. Grameme Souness had it right in the post match analysis.
Whatever was going on worked last year so why would Ranieiri change the system. Training would have been the same. Everything.

But the players decided they were too big time and Ranieri suffered.

I'd be looking very closely at the behaviour and influence of the interim manager right now. He's probably been very instrumental in the player revolt.

Totally agree. Same as Mourinho last season.

When a bag contains 21 apples and you take out one bad one, and everything starts smelling of roses, why does everyone blame the 20 good apples.

One of the primary functions of a team manager is to keep the team motivated and together. Once you can't do that, whatever the reason, the manager has to go.

The only thing I find strange is why we can't get to the truth re Claudio or José. You'd think someone at either club would spill the beans.

Your using Graeme Souness as a pundit to agree with?laugh The guy has been bitter ever since we won the league last year and always criticises anything to do with the club at every opportunity when we are the subject of conversation. The whole Ranieri saga was blown way out of proportion because the media hyped up the fairytail and Ranieri was unsackable etc. Michael owen / Jamie Carragher / Danny murphy are just the same.

The problem with what you posted is that Ranieri DID change things up tactics wise this season and made last minute decisions which the players were confused with and couldn't adapt to at such short notice as the training during the week would have been set up in advance. Playing out of formation and playing a holding game with the ball isn't how the team played last year. What your seeing since the L/Pool game is players that have been told to revert to type and play how they did during relegation survival/title winning campaign. Shakey was doing a hell of a lot behind the scenes and holds a very good working relationship with the players. To say the players have become "Big time" is just a typically lazy comment and one of a few default comments used by other fans and pundits because they don't actually know the full details. Kevin Philips wrote a good article the other day which i'd consider reading to change your view.

The owners made the right Business decision. The club was in free fall and a change was needed. Notice how almost no reporter or pundit wise is jumping on the Wenger out crap and all the protesting by Arsenal supporters? Don't see them being called a disgrace on tv, articles etc. Because it's little old Leicester, everyone wants a pop or to say "you belong in the championsip" and so on...
