Forest game is gonna be tough even though they have a few injured players. Other games i think we may drop points are burnley / charlton /brighton. If we can blank out ings fc for the burnley game though then we should be ok. Don't think we should have any probs against QPR if they play like they did against direby on monday. 1 game at a time though.

I have the dread in the back of my mind of last season when the wheels fell off. Please Leicester, do it for us...COYB
I don't think that will happen this time round. Watching the interviews from the guys and the manager, i think a lot was learnt from what happened and the staff/players/manager/owners are doing a fantastic job so far.
We have a team that are currently playing as a unit and not reliant on 1 or 2 indivuduals (a la burnley/QPR) Vardy and dyer's pace is a menace to defenders in this league hence a lot of penalties awarded, de leat/drinky/james are playing to the top of their game, Knocky on the wings is proving to be a class act as always along with mahrez who is impressing in training and u21's. Can't forget kevin phillips who has already provided a goal and a dummy
not only that, we have managed to get results away from home which we didn't manage so well last season. After listening to us come back from 2-0 down against a watford side who parked the bus and spent the last 20 minutes of the game timewasting and feigning injuries (cheers watdinese!) we still pressed and got the equaliser. Last season the heads would of dropped at half time and we would of handed them the match.
I can't really see us dropping out of the bottom two now. All we need to do is focus on our own results and let the teams around us fight for the other spots. If any other team is going to grab an auto spot i think it will be between burnley and forest.

Force of habit? I know how you feel, I have a sense of optimism that I didn't have last season, we have been there before, seen it all. They players look like a team, and if the past has shown us anything, the team with the best ethic usually gets promotion.
With QPR on a slide and Burnley dropping two points I hope tomorrow we can put some real distance.
That being said, at the start of this month, I said to my freinds I would take 3 points from these three games as they look like they are the hardest of the lot.
Come on City!!
also feeling better than I did before the slump last year, just never felt good at any point last year and said Im glad we didnt go up. think we fully deserve to so far this year, however as you say, these next few games are some toughies, starting with forest away which we have a dire record at!
Good result against the trees and although apparently not a good match to watch (who cares) we got another 3 points against ipswich. Very pleased wood bagged a goal as well. Derby play burnley next so the lead can extend further if we also win our next game
Excellent run of form considering last season we finished the season on 68 points!!!!

Excellent result today. Good to finally beat the banana skin that is charlton. Lucky they didn't have kermo today after his romp at bournemouth!
Personally i think our toughest remaining fixtures will be wigan and burnley. the table looks better and better each week
That being said, after Huddersfields 5-0 at Barnsley today, they will be well up for their remaining games.Personally i think our toughest remaining fixtures will be wigan and burnley. the table looks better and better each week
Similarly with Yeovil holding Reading with 8 Men.
There really is no easy games in this league!
I know you can't get complacent but that's the players job! I can't see us stumbling now, just can't be stopped, players look to be playing for each other, working together and when we get an injury it seems the replacement just slots right in as if he'd always been there! So glad to see Pearson finishing the job he came here to do! And to think there were calls for him to be sacked at the end if last season!

Next few games are the games where complacency can kill you, run up to the Burnley game is;Barnsley, Blackpool, Blackburn, Yeovil then Burnley.
I do hope we can keep our momentum, stay professional and grind out wins if need be, nothing has shown me so far that we cannot do that. If we can get a decent points haul in March, then I will start to believe...until then I am firmly rooted to the ground and not daring to dream!
