Strange decision, but I would have expected us to beat Millwall at home.

I wonder who they will get to replace him now...

I hope not DS, Billy Davies I could just about live with if the results came in but not Schteve.

I am absolutely disgusted and shocked that he has been sacked so soon after backing him with a complete new squad.

West Ham away on Saturday suddenly doesn't sound as appealling now, I shall chant Svens name though.

I also noticed MON odds on favourite. Please don't Martin!
I suppose he would get the backing at the Kung Pow Chicken Chow Mein stadium though frown

Anyone but Schteve.

I havent heard anyone at the games themselves really gettingon sven's back, yes some subious tactical decisions and some poor games but its hardly a start like last season !

oh well, I suppose we could have guessed there would be silly goings on like this since weve been made a 'money club'

Schteve won't be on the owners lists, they haven't got where they are by making stupid decisions along the way. (The sacking of Sven might be their first though.)

On Saturday L block were chanting his name and like usual he waved back at them.

I heard one numptie ranting at Sven but he is like a coiled spring and is always jumping up ranting away so nothing new, but noone near me in the kop was shouting for him to be sacked.

I'm shocked as I didn't think this would happen so soon in.

personaly I am VERY suprised he's been given the boot so soon! this says to me they have a very good replacement lined up, the legend himself coming back? I only said at the weekend how he was starting to show his face again after villa by being a pundit for the euro games. he is about the only person I'd be happy replacing Sven, I thought he was doing 'ok' even after watching that awful display 1st hand on saturday.

never boring being a leicester fan eh!

To me this seems rash, you are only what, 5 points from where you want to be. If you had beat millwall you would have been 4th. Very strange. It sounds very much like Billy at our place, as though they already have someone else lined up.

Especially with such a big game for you this weekend. Very bad timing if not..

I think you may be right JonyTVR.

I have heard all sorts of rumours about MON being down at the training ground on a regular basis. I find it hard to believe though as I haven't seen it anywhere on the net and nowadays things like that would be up on a foxes forum instantly.

Someone also said MON was sat next to the owners on Saturday, I didn't see so can't say.

Either way they must have someone lined up ready if they know what they are doing.

Nigel Worthington is quite high up in the betting too.

Please, please not Schteve. nononononononononononononononononononono

Hey guys,

What was Greg Cunningham like when you had him last year?

A good player, wasn't afraid to go forward down the line. An up and coming left back but it was cut short due to his ankle IIRC at Hull. Ben Mee in my view was a better left back.

Roy Keanes odds have fallen dramatically within the last 24hr's! From 16-1 to 3-1 rolleyes sceptical on Keane! Mark Hughes would satisfy!

Bit of a time lapse since the last post on this thread, which I've only just seen, but count me in! smile

Good win at Burnley - bring on (dirty) Leeds!

You foxes have any preferences for the new manager?..

I'd better say that I had missed all of the second page of this thread when I posted that.

It was a mix of over-excitement having seen a LFC thread - and having just got back from the pub.
