The whole incident seemed very strange. Why would he pretend to choke out McCartney then, obviously something was said and he lost his cool and wouldn't let go of him. Very odd indeed.
Yes, that plus the sacking/not sacking....I'm still pro Pearson, but can see the other side too...it's a results business.I don't often bother goading on other teams but Pearson really needs some help with his media management, listed to his post match interview on the radio this morning and I was shocked. He stated that the Palace player 'said something' which clearly means he reacted and lost control and then went on to say another manager 'should've kept his big mouth shut' over the proposed transfer of McArthur last summer! He's making a fool of himself and harming the reputation of the club.
I disagree with almost all of the comments above. Pearson should have gone during December to allow a new manager to come in and make some changes and spend some money where it needed to be spent.
Pearsons tactical nowse and willingness to show loyalty to players who aren't good enough for the premiership is his undoing far more than his media relations for me. He's a good manager, but not good enough for this level. That said, as City are almost certain to go down at the end of the season, i'd be inclined to now keep him on as I do think he's our best bet for a strong showing in the Championship next season.

really need something out of this game tonight to get some momentum and break the small gap at the bottom. Agree with the comments re pearson and the better handling of the media etc but on the flip side the media are not exactly saints either.
Team sheet was very odd for the palace game. Krammy on the bench and no albrighton until second half. Not sure what the poor lad has to do to get on the starting 11 to be honest. Would love to see what happens with knocky at the end of the season as well since he is barely making the bench now. Would also like to see Huth start tonight over Wes as he seems to be a bit of a liability this season with leaking goals.
In terms of form we are nowhere near as bad as half the teams in the league, we just seem to be pump at converting chances and give the ball away to easily.
COYB!

I'm a Norwich fan - we kept hold of Chris Hughton through the transfer window last year and then dumped him in a panic with a few games to go ... and they were all against teams in the top half so weren't very winnable looking anyway. I think now that Leicester are through the transfer window with Pearson still there it doesn't make any sense to change now.
You still have a chance of staying up given the state of the lower end of the PL and if you don't you'll be well placed to come back up given the quality of the squad. Maybe change manager in the summer?
Fans of clubs of a size like ours probably just need to get used to the yoyoing between championship and prem. To be honest I enjoy the fun of occasionally expecting to win games in a lower division than just hoping we hang on in games against the big boys .... the year we spent in League One (D3 for us oldies) was spectacularly good fun
