I wouldn't be too worried after the performance against us. We are a far better team than our league position suggests. After taking only a single point in our first seven games we have won seven out of the last nine, losing once and playing one draw. The game on Saturday was an absolute cracker despite the best efforts of the referee to ruin it with inconsistent decisions. You were unlucky and we were lucky, if Iheanacho's chip over the keeper goes in instead of hitting the post and if the ref lets play go for advantage after the foul leading to our goal... A "fair" result would have been a draw but football is rarely "fair"!
I still think you should go up as Champions with the squad you've got but as you may learn the Championship can bite your rrse when you least expect it.

Agreed - if there's a team out of position in the table at the moment I think it's Boro. Not sure why you had such a poor start but if it had been half reasonable you'd certainly be in a play-off position (and quite probably 3rd and only a handful of points behind the top two). But the Championship is a marathon not a sprint and, while Leicester and Ipswich have built themselves a tidy cushion, there's still a long way to go and whether both can maintain their early season form remains to be seen. To be honest I still think Leicester will go up as Champions but I'm less convinced Ipswich will be in the top two after 46 games; however, from memory both Southampton and Norwich were promoted from League 1 and then followed it up by getting promoted to the PL the following season so it's certainly possible!
Well that was close, after completely dominating WBA we did our best to throw another 2 points away in the last 10 mins, but a good break got the win.
Good performance from Ndidi, poor performance from Nacho (I don't know why Vardy wasn't brought on), and I wish they'd stop the keep-ball passing around at the back all the time. Our keeper screwed up three times, we were just fortunate they didn't capitalise on it.

Were poor at Sheff Weds, decent at WBA but let them back into the game, today however we were very good. Nice to see Southampton drop points as well, puts a massive amount of points between ourselves and them.
Next 6 games including NYD, we need 13 points IMO. Leeds and Ipswich hot on our heels. Boxing Day vs. Ipswich will be a huge, I've convinced myself they'll beat us.

Fair play to your boys.
They stood up last night.
Looked like the perfect mid-week for us at half time in your game, with Leeds losing.
Same quality shown by you last night as we've had to show a few times.
Don't have to love it when you do it but have to at least respect it.
Come on the Tractor Boys!

That was a vital 3 points last night, huge, especially with Leeds and Southampton winning.
Everyone plays before us this weekend, so we might be under some pressure Monday night, but I'm confident we can beat Bham, especially as they've just got a win, taking the pressure off them somewhat.
Got a bit of a break from the away games myself now for a few weeks, trying to save some pennies for the Euros next year.

We're absolutely relentless, racking up the wins.
15 wins from 24 games needed to hit 100 points. I'll be amazed if Leeds or Southampton get more than 92/93 points.
The PPG stats are massively in our favour, even if we have a dip in form, Leeds and Southampton need to win 17 out of 24 games. As it is they could even win 19 out of 24 and it still wouldn't be enough.
But, one game at a time. Rotherham at home on Saturday, they're terrible away from home so hopefully we can tick off another 3 points before a massive game against Ipswich. It would be nice to get the win against Rotherham and even draw away at Ipswich, would snap your hand off for that atm.

We play Ipswich this saturday at home which could close the gap to them to 7 points, then if you play them after Christmas and beat them, We (Leeds) win again then the gap to Ipswich is down to 4 points. There are massive games coming up which could have a bearing on league positions, but realistically everyone else is playing for second place. I can't see you slipping or letting many points go. 15 wins from 24 games needed to hit 100 points. I'll be amazed if Leeds or Southampton get more than 92/93 points.

It's a crazy season in the Championship. There is a possible 4 teams that could end up with record points and only 2 go up automatically.

We play them Boxing Day and also in January mate, so could end up taking 6 points off them. However, I'm fairly certain we won't beat them twice, I'm expecting 1 or 3 points over the 2 games. With how forward they seem to play though we could easily take 4 or 6 points depending on the day. It's a crazy season in the Championship. Another 3 points, the big one up next, Ipswich away. Would gladly take a draw right now, Cardiff and Huddersfield after that, like to think we can get 6 points from those 3 games.
We (Leeds) could do with you beating Ipswich on Boxing Day if you could see your way clear! But they'll probably be looking to bounce back after today so I'm sure you'll be in for a very tough game and yes, a point probably wouldn't be a bad result from your perspective...Well how fkng stupid was that. We totally controlled the game but sat back on the one goal lead then allowed the usual pissy-passy stuff at the back to be our undoing. And not only that we should have had a pen when the Ipswich defender brought down KDH in the box.
Two points dropped there. I sincerely hope we don't live to regret that.
Fuming.
