Not a LCFC fan but that seems like a mighty strange decision. Would have made sense at some points last year but he got you there and kept you there and seems to motivate the team and get them playing well without big bucks. Who will replace him and do better?

Press conferences will be duller that’s for sure smile

Seems to be the incidents throughout the last season, coupled with his alleged unhappiness of his son getting the sack after the thai incident which has triggered this.

Feel pretty gutted right now. Can't think of anyone else coming into replace him. SSN had Sean Dyche in the running.......Sean Dyche FFS! Really?

It was odd he was apparently sacked mid-season then reinstated, then other incidents in press-conferences and also the James McArther thing cannot of helped. You do wonder if sacking his son pushed him over the edge.

Its seems that no much is needed to make him lose his rag.

Madness! I thought I'd dreamt it at first this morning.

Seems odd that they have brought in new recruits and some have signed expansions.

I guess no one in the club knew of it. Apparently they sacked him over the phone too. Must of been as scared as those wild dogs.

New manager by the weekend I reckon.

I actually liked Pearson (speaking as a Forest fan), as he seemed genuine and certainly didn't tolerate fools.

Had loads of sympathy for him when that bint who presents BBC Breakfast Sport was reporting on his "shock two minute rant", which to me looked like NP talking calmly and asking why a journo would ask such a stupid question.

He also had to deal with mad owners.

Having said that I can see how what happened with his son made his position even more tenuous. He could almost be seen as doubly responsible. Ultimately he's the manager and three players made idiots of themselves on his watch. But one of them is his son and who did he learn his behaviour from?

Good bit of business over the last few days.

Looking forward to the start of the season.

Not sure how many games I'll get to though. frown

I know some are moaning, but a point against spurs who are often out bogie team I'm very happy with. Some great defending today, their goal was sloppy but it shows that we can mix it it with top half prem sides

absoloutley crazy! however, I am kind of hoping we have a bad spell, that way I might be able to get tickets!!!! I have NEVER known it like this!(can only be good for the club mind!) I've followed them since I was a kid when mark mcghee was in charge and always been to 5-10 games a season depending on finances and health, saw them through the dizzy height of european football against athletico madrid and the misery days of Peter Taylor and relegation to league one.

The watford game I was hopeful for, not a very high end game, and also the 1st team I ever saw us play as a kid, however no chance of tickets for us all sitting together, and what was left was way back in the main stand with all the boring corporate lot.

I do find the current membership schemes all a bit of a rip off personally, but whilst we are filling the stands it isn't going to change I guess! just when you cant actually watch them play the best football I have probably ever seen in my time at least it kind of takes the specialness away from it.

No doubt I will get a few games when we have a slump and then others wont want to go watch a losing team which is when they need the fans the most.
