I still think it's too early to talk of it being a given they'll win, I suspect they won't, but I bloody hope they (you as it's your thread) do smile

They've got a bloke called Schmeichel in goal.

Loving Leicester's season so far, incredible stuff. Love you to win it and REALLY throw the car among the pigeons ...

Hope those Mahrez pen misses don't end up haunting you. Surely they'll have given it to someone else now. Contain Citeh early on and then score would be ideal. Their defence ain't all that ...
If you watched the City game last night on MOTD Sunderland were all over them. No clue how they managed to sneak a win there. Leicester should really fancy their chances.

ETA: The Leicester style of being direct and running the channels and in behind I think is going to cause havoc in that City defense.
It's brilliant stuff!

Would be up there with the greatest sporting shocks of all time, in any sport, if they win the league.

Just got back from the pub so excuse me as I'm a bit pissed, but holy fk!!!°

I'd have happy taken a point before the game and for most of the first half where MC dominated possession after we scored. I couldn't believe the stats at halftime saying they'd only had 1 shot on target, it felt like we were just surviving.

But 2nd half we were phenomenal and by far the better team. Mahrez's goal was absolute quality.

I am in dreamland and suddenly realising that we're not just punching above our weight, we're a bloody good team who've found the right way to play in this league.

We can do this now, COME ON LEICESTER!!!!!!

My cousin born and bred Leicester still lives there, avid and lifelong Leicester supporter.

I am loving his fb updates on how his team are doing. Can't be anything but chuffed for him. I don't follow football really but even I've been drawn in to their progress, really hope it continues for them!

I've been a closet Leicester fan ( and born in Leicester!) and this really is a dream - it makes up for the year when we got to a Cup final? and were relegated in the League!

Keep it up lads. You guys deserve the title this year, playing brilliant football. However if you do win brace yourselves for the mega money offers arriving for your top players!

Not sure how saints seem set up but I think there would be a few differences.

1. We are set for possibly CPL football
2. We are not in need of money. Our owners are wealthy enough that we don't need to sell. They're also astute enough to see selling our best players would be a backwards move.
3.many of our players arnt actually that good you'd argue. Placing someone like vardy in another team, I did t he'd be half as good. My 2 players I'd hate to lose is kante amd marhez (in that order) and unless someone like barca comes in, I'm not convinced they'd leave for another prem side.

I may be wrong of course and we lose everyone, if a player wants to go, we will of course have to sell, but with how close knit this team is, I hope not to lose many,if any.

You are aware of who owns Southampton I take it?

If not I suggest you look it up as he has a few more dollars than Top and Vichai have.

Back on topic, Saturday was the best away day this season by a country mile and hats of to the Manchester City fans, proper football fans, coming over to you outside after the game shaking your hand, and on the train. A credit to their club.
