Brilliant, so pleased for Leicester, but the greatest sporting achievement of all time? I'm sure if the great Mr Clough were still around, he'd remind us what he achieved. Promotion from second division, winning the first division the next season, followed by back to back European Cups - incredible, untouchable.

When you think of the money involved now and the fact that Brian Clough was buying the most expensive players shows the Leicester achievement is really impressive.Zoon said:

But back then, the players were not valued at anywhere near today's fee's so probably more of an achievement back then.tbfv I dont think they easily compare, completely different generations. I dont think anyone can take away what forest did, lets face it they went on to follow it up with success in europe too. As I see most people put it as 'one' of Britain's biggest success stories, along with a few other in both football and other sports.

So happy your boys managed to beat the spuds to it Well done, well deserved!
Whilst they're equally happy your lot imploded yet again. So happy your boys managed to beat the spuds to it Well done, well deserved!
The whiff of maybe winning the prem was just a bonus really & without Spurs the title would have been over weeks ago.
Chuffed to bits about the title, so much so I popped open a dusty bottle of champagne straight after Spurs decided to have a breakdown at Chelsea.
Brilliant stuff, and as a long time supporter, fking unbelievable.
Nearly as unbelievable Huth's 3 match ban for pulling a bit of hair. He's been wacking people in the ribs and elbowing them in the head all season, so why bother now?
I think they've been harsh on Fellaini too - he was just reacting like anybody else would have done.
