Riyad Mahrez seriously has the best first touch of any player I've ever seen. It's just ridiculous.
A shame he's been largely anonymous in the PL this season, but I suppose he's just that kind of luxury player. 1 good game in 4 or something.
Absolutely immense yesterday though...especially in the rain.

Never a red. The pace of the tackle deceived the ref into thinking it was violent.
Vardy got the ball and the Stoke player thought he'd get something out of it by doing the dying fly until he realised what he'd achieved, whereupon he instantly recovered.
I know JVs done his fair share of going down easy, but it wasn't a red. The slow-mo doesn't lie.

Watched MOTD. Couldn't believe the comments. That was a straight red all day long, and a nailed on penalty.
Not even a yellow according to former ref Keith Hackett and not a penalty either:http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2016/12/18/cra...

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that. Two footed lunge challenge and a blatant handball with his arm no where near his side.
He also said the arm was in a natural position, which it was, if he's changing a light bulb!

Listening to that twit Hackett on talkSPORT this morning. He was going on about "no malice in the challenge". If he can find me the bit in the laws that says 2 footed tackles are ok so long as there's no malice intended, then he's a better man than me.

Haha.. what a load of bks, you leave the ground like that two footed and you intend on putting in a tough challenge and you're probably a bit pissed off. I've played football my whole life and would only ever jump into a tackle like that if I was pissed off for whatever reason. No place for it in the Premier League. Red card all day.He also said the arm was in a natural position, which it was, if he's changing a light bulb!
Too right, again handball all day, whether he meant it or not is irrelevant he went to ground and left his arm flailing about.
