That's it. The Foxes are beaten 3-0 at King Power Stadium following strikes from Mkhitaryan, Ibrahimovic and Mata.

Cup replay tomorrow at home against Derby.....A win would give the Foxes a boost, but a few more PL points might be better in the long term?

Leic 3 Derby 1 ....in extra time, it was 1 all after 90 mins. So we are against Millwall in the Cup next.
Hopefully the win tonight will give us heart against Swansea....

I know it was only against Derby (reserves), but Benalouane looked really sharp tonight.
He has to be getting near to the 1st team by now?

The Millwall game is three days before the Seville CL first leg I think....

I'm guessing your manager will be asking the ball boys and grounds men to form a team to play Milwall...

1st half was pretty stale but on the whole it was so good to see the back 4 passing the ball and not "Hoof" every time it came near them! Gray/benny/was/kappy/chilwell should be given a start against swansea as i think they did very well.

pundits getting threaders about the team change for the game but sod em'. It was needed and paid off.

Our 2 best players currently, Gray and Ndidi, will be targets for other teams in the summer no doubt, maybe Chilwell as well. Leicester need to do their utmost to hang on to these players as they are the future of this side.

Benny did well I thought, and should be starting. He appeared to be caught a bit flat footed on occasion but maybe that is just his willingness to commit and make the tackle rather than backing off. Whatever, his anticipation and tackling were great, as well as his passing. Was, although slower than my gran, looked incredibly composed on the ball, and combined with the rest of the back 4 to actually play some football and pass out to the midfield rather than our usual style of hoofing straight over the lot of them.

Will Gray, Chilwell, and Benny start on Sunday? I'm not convinced, I think they all played 120 mins on Weds so if there is any doubt in CR's mind this could be a deciding factor. But they all deserve to!

I've tempered my enthusiasm of our 2nd half and ET performance with the fact that it was a much changed Derby team who like the first leg ran out of steam after 75 mins, and our CB's had a pretty easy time of it against the Derby attack. Would Benny look as good against the top sides, probably not, but he's surely an improvement on our current pairing.

Kaputska I thought did ok, and it was his work on the left that set the move for the 1st goal off. But, he looks a bit lightweight atm, similar to Kramaric. Mahrez looked a clear step up when he came on, but again he faded quickly and went quiet in a game where he should have been running riot like Gray. Disappointing!

But all in all a lot of positives to take from that game, and gives some hope for the rest of the season. I just worry that we'll go straight back to our usual starting 11 and style of play on Sunday, I really hope not!

Another Everton fan here that hopes you turn it around.

Think your manager needs a change of tactics. Leave Vardy on the bench, tighten up and chase draws, if drawing with 75 minutes gone, bring on a fresh Vardy to use his speed against tired defences. Snatch wins from draws. Stop losing at all costs.

Swansea look good for staying up, changed team since they gig rid of the American.

fking Hoofball!!!!!

Switched off at HT. Back 4 needs addressing asap. Cluadio will almost certainly be gone after Sevilla. Changes for me, 4-4-1-1

Kasper

Amartey Was Benny Chilwell

Mahrez King Ndidi Gray

Okazaki/Vardy/Kapustka?

Slim/ulloa?

Crazy? Maybe, But the usual starters need a kick up the backside. Captaincy should be given to Kasper.

If it good enough for Arsenal and Giroud to come on in the 2nd half then it should be good enough for Vardy.

When Robbie Savage read out the league positions for Leicester over the last five years the bloke didn't get it at all. The players have let the club down badly this year.
