Biggest game of the season, can't sell out. Fans leave ages before the end.
"We're Derby County, we'll sing on our own".
Shocking lack of support.

Shame about the result yesterday, Brighton controlled the game but Derby were devastating on the counter attack..

Their goals were pretty lucky, the penalty was unnecessary to give away, I thought Brighton should have had two penalties at the very least!

Hopefully we can pull it back on sunday smile

So shocking lack of support how come we have the biggest average attendance???
Some people leave before the end thats up to them I personally dont as anything can happen just like at forest lol but i assume they do so they dont get caught up in all traffic. Happens at all stadiums including yours so dont even go there!
Yes we are the underdogs but all still to play for as only half time and our away form is better than our home form but if we fail then good luck to you as you deserve to be there finishing 3rd but dont come on here talking rubbish about our support! redcard

1) usual BHA guff about average attendances. Where were they all when you played at the running track? Let's see how many keep going now it's clear that another year goes by when your fans can't see the 'first' teams play there...
2) it IS shocking that you can't sell out a game that's one of the biggest in your history.
3) it IS disgraceful that fans don't support their team until the end of such an important game, particularly when you're only one goal down.
4) you assume I support Derby.

Well, that was a bitter pill to swallow but Derby were the better side on the day. Shame we lost Greer so early and with Upson already out we didn't have the experience at the back to cope with a confident Derby attack. Orlandi didn't seem to have his heart in the game and should have been subbed at half time.

Still, good atmosphere at the ground and good support from the Brighton fans that made it to the game. Shame that the pitch invasion by the Derby fans prevented all but Ulloa & Calderon making it across to our corner to acknowledge the fans. (Got the impression that Ulloa wasn't just saying "thanks", but "goodbye" as well.....) It'll be a shame if Ulloa goes as when he and CMS are on the pitch together they really seem to work well.

Good luck to Derby in the final. They're on a roll at the moment and it should be enough to take them past QPR/Wigan (delete as appropriate)

To cries of; "You only sing when you're winning", our season finally got underway last night with a cracking win at Leeds. The two new boys (Joao Teixeira & Danny Holla) both had good games and the team looked to be working well together.

Something must have clicked last night, as our first game against Sheffield Wednesday was pretty dire, with nobody playing well, or even seeming to have any confidence on the ball. This was carried through to the Birmingham game and so expectations for last night were not good, which made the win all that much sweeter.

Looking forward to the Bolton game on Saturday. Not driving, so should be able to enjoy the Harveys ale! (and hopefully another win!)

Followed yesterday's game on t'nterweb and it seemed as though the "leaky" defence have managed to shore up some of the holes. That's now three games in a row without letting a goal in.

Just need to work a bit more on putting it in the net at the other end and we're on our way.

Cardiff on Tuesday should be a good test. Be good to see Craig Noone starting for them.

Well, a much-needed three points last night. I'm happy to say that I made it to the game and for a change, was in the East Upper as I had my two sons with me. Again, lots of mistakes and plenty of holes still in our defence. But a win is a win. Let's hope we can build on this.

Good home debut for Walton in goal. (I'm surprised that Kasper sticks around as he seems to be fourth choice these days........)

So, that's us third from bottom and needing a new manager.

Gonna be an interesting second half of the season.

Funny old game, Saint..........

Chris Hughton named as our new manager (not "Head Coach" as Poyet, Garcia & Hyypia were)

Let's hope that he can turn things around in 2015.

With Burke sacked, it will be interesting to see how/if the player purchasing policy changes under the new regime.

Well, if he can keep us out of the relegation zone and give us something to build on for next season, then I think he'll be doing a good job.

He did okay for you guys as a player and assistant coach, so let's hope he can bring some of that to the Amex.

Well that's about the best I've seen us play this season! A good all-round team performance. Thought O'Grady had a great game despite not being able to score.

It was also a good move from Hughton to put Calde in front of Bruno.

The whole team played with a confidence that they haven't shown so far this season. Mr Hughton must be doing something right, because it's the same people out on the pitch as were playing under Sami.

This win tonight will lift the fans for the game against The Arse on Sunday. Looking forward to seeing a capacity game.

Up The Albion!

Cracking result tonight against Derby. Even-ish first half, weathered the storm in the first fifteen minutes of the second half and then capitalised when Stephens was brought on for Teixeira, with Kaz adding the second.

A much-needed three points there and revenge for the 3-0 drubbing that I had the misfortune to witness at the "I-Poo" Stadium in December.

Having said that, I still think that Derby will be up there in the automatic places come the end of the season. They showed a lot of quality tonight, just couldn't capitalise on the chances.
