Could be, but we've really got to play well, just to get into and maintain a position in the play-offs. Realistically, we'd end up 6th in the division as Middle-Burg seem to be the only catch-able team. Watford, Palace & Leicester are all having good runs at the moment, so it's difficult to say.
Leicester have lost 2 on the trot, but do have 2 games in hand. Borough certainly in free-fall.

Good analysis. Maybe last night is the start of shaking off the draw specialists tag. I'd love to see them do it. It's not long ago you boys were down the Withdean & I play squash there & think it's a dump.

What a transformation in a few short years.
Yes, it's great to see and amazing to see the fan-base that we have, given that Withdean only held around 7k. The Amex is a great stadium; there's a really positive buzz about the place and we're now getting a 25k average gate there, which is as much as some of the Premier League clubs.

Good to hear some positive feedback from other teams' fans thumbup

Not a bad game on Saturday. Bridge was excellent and we nearly got 90mins out of Vicente. Not sure about Ulloa though, he seems to go to ground a bit too easily. And he missed a sitter that would have put us 2-0 up. Cracking volley by David Lopez for 1-0 bounce

Great news though that we're back into the play-off places. Just got to be good enough to keep it there.

Ulloa has a decent first touch and gets in front of the defenders well and has presence, something Mackail-Smith isn't good at (his 1st touch is very poor, esp at this level). His miss was poor but at least he was in the right position a the right time.

Bridge is a class act, he also attacks down the wing well - I think he enjoys this as I assume in his previous career he stayed at the back more. I hope he signs for us next year. Same goes for Upson, very solid and experienced.

Three wins in a row and a hat-trick for Ulloa thumbup He managed to stay on his feet this week (just one small lapse...) and his third was excellent.

Let's hope we can keep it going on Tuesday against Bristol City

Goal-less draw vs Bristol City while Middlesbrough lose.

And CMS out for the rest of the season frown

Just going to have to rely on Ulloa for a hat-trick every game for the rest of the season biggrin

Not that it made a huge amount of difference on the day but can anyone explain what that red card was about? I rewound that four times last night & can't understand for the life of me why that was a sending off??

Looks like we're going to be in for a tough game on Sunday, what with the depleted strike force and all. Let's hope we get a decent game out of it and that the ref doesn't get red card-happy like he did last time he was at the Amex.

Could be a good opportunity to see how LuaLua and Ulloa combine. (Love to hear a TV commentator trying to get that combination out in a hurry biggrin)

Yup, sorry we couldn't score more than five against you, we have a striker crisis you see biggrin

Looking forward to it, got my ticket. Whatever the result, should be a cracking atmosphere.

Well that was a surprise ! 3- 0 and Ulloa gets on the score sheet twice.

Just wish I could have been there instead of stuck offshore having to follow the game on the Beeb live text...........
