Fair point however normal loan deals involve one club actually wanting to sign a particular player on loan. Have the Rangers management actually sought out these players or have they just been dumped on the club? If it's the latter then forcing Rangers to play them is a farce.
Indeed. Looks to me like K McD is positioning himself as separate from the board. On the football front, I'm as optimistic as I've been for a while about the team. Hopefully the competition can spur on the stagnating permanent squad, as well as a direct positive impact of players with some EPL experience.

'Loan signings from Newcastle MUST PLAY if fit'
Oh dear.
Would you agree that a common stipulation of many loan deals is that the players actually play?'Loan signings from Newcastle MUST PLAY if fit'

P.S. did anyone notice on Sunday, consecutive chants from the green end of "you're not rangers any more" and "same old rangers, always cheating?"
I don't think they were quite the songs that stood out on Sunday. As for the players on loan, they can't really make the team any worse, can they? They'd pretty much be starters even if it wasn't forced.
I don't really know much about any of them, but I'm sure they'll add something if they look a bit more interested than the press conference pictures.
How can Rangers afford them though? Obviously they can't afford the squad they have now, but five young guys from the EPL will already be on good salaries.
Any truth that Newcastle will still be paying their wages and they were forced to go to Rangers? It seems very odd, but believable at the same time.
I still can't see Hearts getting caught for the Championship.

They'll be pretty good technicians I'd say - IIRC around 100 games in the EPL between them, and a variety of international/u20 appearances. As for the players on loan, they can't really make the team any worse, can they? They'd pretty much be starters even if it wasn't forced.

On the motivational/contractual front, we're into pure speculation! I heard from a big blue mate that they all had offers from the Championship in England but decided to go en masse to Glasgow That one might be spectacles tinted though

Funny how you think it moronic when it's a commonplace clause. Unless you think clubs send their players away to get experience of sitting on the bench "Would you agree that a common stipulation of many loan deals is that the players actually play?"

The Rangers Supporters trust put out a statement complaining that the Celtic fans had Monkeys in the stands on Sunday and think it was an act of racism.
That's up there with Neymar's Wembley accusations (IIRC).Why would Celtic fans be making racist gestures against Rangers when the Celtic team has quite a few black players and I don't think Rangers even had a black player on?
Explain to me why you think the Monkeys were racist?
Reading comments from the internet world, the monkey display was another dig at Rangers being liquidated and not existing in their old form as being part of the "Old Firm".
It was "Getting the monkey off their back". Does that not kind of make sense given the situation and the comments being chanted out?
Rangers fans seem to have a go at everyone else and make a big deal about a lot, however I'm sure my opinion is shared by many, that they are by far the worst for their behaviour, songs and comments.
Both are guilty of shocking behaviour, but Rangers are far more guilty.

I wasn't there but I'm aware some shoddy songs were being sung by Gers fans.
Certainly going from bad to worse at the moment.
Caught the last 35 minutes of the game and Raith deserved their win. McCulloch should have been off and so should have Foster.
Can Rangers possibly survive with the way things are at the moment?
They are absolutely skint and the fans aren't turning up. 11,000 people won't pay the bills. Where is the other 14,000 that turned up last week against Celtic? Ironic after the chants of last week.
I read a few football forums and a few friends also support Rangers. The reason they gave for no longer going was McCoist. They all promised once he was out they'd be back. Crowds seem to have just got less and less after he went.
Now I'm hearing they aren't going because of the board. What happened to the argument for the last few years that the club and company were two seperate things? Why boycott the team when they need support?
Watching the game today, after the goalie had a fumble at the second Raith goal, I don't think I've ever seen a player who looked under more pressure. I felt sorry for him.
The biggest cheer of the day by Rangers was substituting Black. I can only guess how the players must feel like st when even the last 20% of fans left are getting on your back.
We all know things aren't right, but the fans turning their back in their droves isn't helping anyone. Everyone is at each other's throats and looking for a way out.

Christ knows what the boys up from Newcastle must be thinking!
I watched most of the game and was impressed by Vuckic and Streete. I hope their influence can be the spark to get the fans back behind the team in numbers - as you say it cannot be easy when the players are struggling for form and confidence and getting no support.
