It's hard to gloat from where Rangers are. You've had a couple of wins and are getting far too far ahead of yourself again. Haven't you learned this from McCoist and Mccall? Every time there was a few good results, this was the tuning point, then it was really the turning point, it's most certainly different this time and repeat over and over.
BBC give Celtic's crowd as over 45k, but I'm not sure why you're picking this argument? When was the last time, new or old, did Rangers have a higher average crowd than Celtic? What does it really prove now?
I was surprised to read so many turned up given the way the fans turned their backs in recent years. That crowd is 50% up on their average of last season. Like I said earlier, their is little loyalty in football, players and fans. Thick and thin doesn't exist.
You've signed a manager that hasn't got much of a track record in management, and players nobody had heard of that were released, yet that's been made out to be hugely positive. They appear to have started well.
A good start on the field is papering over the cracks that exist in the club.
The standard is ste in the Europa league? It's significantly higher than it was years ago and Rangers fans still hang on to the glory of 2008 as if it was a major achievement. It's no Champions League, but nobody pretends it is.
I think you'll be surprised at the funding some of the teams have that you haven't heard of. There has been some freak results too that didn't reflect the game. Also don't underplay the fact that these teams are already fully match fit and Celtic hadn't even played a single game.
So far they haven't even struggled this year. Easy second qualifying round, and so comfortable again Qarabag too. It should have been 3 at Celtic park and the same over there. They had two shots on target over 180 minutes. It wasn't a struggle even if there was only 1 goal in it.
Your not so long ago is a very long time ago. Things have changed in many many ways since those days.
In more recent years, you can pick numerous embarrassing nights for Rangers in Europe. However I'm failing to see where your points are leading and what is the point of it? What are you trying to justify?
In relation to Allan's decision, one team is secure and on the verge of qualifying for the pinnacle of club football's competitions, the other is in financial distress and playing in the Scottish Championship.
How you're trying to even to begin to compare the situations and see one as negative and the other positive, is nothing short of delusional. We've heard all this for years, the gloating keeps coming, then it still keeps blowing up in your faces. There is a real issue about not learning to walk before you can run.
Maybe there was 4000 extra fans at the game when you played your biggest rival, but it really actually makes no difference to the big picture.
Another long pointless post about how poor Rangers are and how amazing Celtc are, quelle surprise.BBC give Celtic's crowd as over 45k, but I'm not sure why you're picking this argument? Exactly! On a car forum aswell. Why would you waste so much of your life doing that?On a Rangers thread.
He has a cheek criticising me when he does the same thing but 1000 times worse which is the point I first raised ages ago.
fk knows how long it takes him to type all that st just to then post it on a Rangers sub-forum on a car forum.
How sad is that? From now on, I will only reply to his posts with "lol".
Don't feed the troll fellow bluenoses, let him wallow in his own obsession. No mods on here seem interested in banning him for trolling, so he's best ignored.

Another victory and dominating performance tonight from Rangers, how it should be against this calibre of opposition IMO.
Our style of play under the previous regimes played into the hands of other teams, now we press them for 90 minutes and make our superior fitness and skill level count.
Obviously we're not Premier League standard yet, but we're finally going in the right direction.
There will be blips along the way, but the team are playing infinitely better right now.

He's probably been watching Celtic drop two goals at home to team even more diddy than they are. Squeaky bum time for the 2nd leg.
Hopefully it's another last minute goal that puts them out. I know he'll come back on this but I couldn't care less about rankings, coefficients etc- I want Celtic pumped every time they step on a pitch.

What's this rangers forum nonsense?
You're a looney.
It's a thread, open to everyone. Same as every other thread on here.

Rangers thread in a football sub-forum.
The point still stands.
He doesn't support Rangers, but posts 1000 word essays in every reply saying negative things about Rangers.
That is the definition of a troll.
Posting negative messages to incite a reaction from others.
If I go on the Ford lovers threads and start posting incessant negative 1000 word essays about how st Ford are, I'd no doubt be banned for trolling. Same thing.

This is a Rangers thread which means people come on to talk about Rangers. That's basically the rule in a nutshell.... besides, it's good to get Celtic, Hibs, Hearts, Elgin fans on here as it generates discussion rather than a load of back-slapping and "Aren't we doing well?" comments.
That's how it works on the Man U, Spurs, Arsenal and all the other threads and it's how it will work on here too. If someone wants to compose a long post on Rangers/Celtic stuff, as long as it doesn't break forum rules then it should be fine.
To be honest, you're more in danger of being banned for being a giant whinge bucket. Just chill out, pal. You always seem at more strain than the waistline of Fat Boab's breeks.

Wait a minute, you're the guy that goes looking for specific posts on Twitter/Facebook, then think that means something.
You're the guy that chose to ignore when thousands of your own supporters said and done much worse, to the same person, when the Allan situation was turned on its head.
You're the guy that plays no other part on Pistonheads that come in here and whinge like a 5 year old.
Why do people get offended when I say something, yet when I let things go, I come back to people quoting me all the time LOOKING for a response?
The only time I've dug this thread up was for the Allan deal. I did find it somewhat amusing after Technodup got on his high horse thinking Rangers were getting one up on Hibs, only for it to explode in his face.
Likewise your silly introduction of social media bile that backfired on you.
Never once, I don't think, have I said anything out of line. I've never had to be warned about my conduct, unlike others I've never used any foul or abusive language.
I'm talking football and joining in the conversations. Technodup likes to talk about Celtic too, as you see above. His knowledge of Celtic seems no better than Rangers though.
You don't need to be here if you don't like it. You do have that choice, although I'd imagine if anyone is close to getting a ban, it'll be you.
You offer absolutely nothing apart from being an immature greeting faced whinger.

What are you on about? I only ever had a passing interest in Scott Allan and couldn't give a toss about Hibs. I'm guessing the comment you're talking about was in response to Hibs fans getting slightly angsty on Twitter shouting about the IRA etc.Driver101 said:

In any Rangers thread it's inevitable there will be talk of Celtic. I'm not interested in them other than to correct any suggestion they are a 'bigger club' and to laugh when they get beaten. As it happens I used to work for Rangers, still know people who work for the club and have a current SPL club as a client so I suspect I'm actually across the business side of Scottish football rather more than most. But hey, Celtic, yay!technodup said:
