You are obsessed at the thought of being obsessed about. Every time you join this thread, that's all you offer.

If you spend 10 minutes reading any football forum, you can hardly pretend Rangers fans don't have a massive interest in Celtic. I don't remember ever reading the same amount of campaigns by Celtic against Rangers. The land deals one is one of the funniest. Convinced they are right, even though they managed to get even the most simple things right. They are still pushing this after all this time, but keep changing the facts to suit.

Like this thread for example, we've got numerous examples of giving it out, yet we've yet to see any ability to take it back. We keep getting accusations and claims, but never a decent back up.

When there's something positive on the go it's let's all look at us. As soon as something a little negative is said, it's calls of obsessed, obsessed.

It's nothing more than deflection.

Ever notice the people in this thread have had efforts to troll the Celtic thread? You might also notice it doesn't work. Odd they feel ok to do it, but can't handle some valid points back in return. I've never logged into this thread to rub your faces in a bad result. It's not true the other way.

I've never seen offensive remarks posted by opposing fans that have lead to forum bans. The opposite isn't true.

I just can't follow why too many of you guys continually get offended all the time. If you aren't getting offended on the internet by remarks, it's another boycott, mass letters of complaints and kicking a stink up over nothing.

Rangers do have more than their fair share of zoomers as fans. Offensive pananoia has set in deep and hard.

You have a short memory then, because I remember thread after thread and call after call on the phone-ins about EBTs, Whyte, the big tax case, Sevco and so much more.

And in spite of the various nonsense claims that we were a new club and therefore insignificant and irrelevant to Celtic there was something of a clamour for tickets to Hampden for the cup game. Strange that for the first game of the new season against Thistle they took around 4000 fans yet they could have filled their half of Hampden twice for a game against some diddy new team in a minor league.

In saying that it's easy for them to get confused.

Look another off topic jibe. Didn't you read the moderator's warning on the last page?

Why do you keep getting upset, keeping making comments towards me to get a reaction, then keep getting offender when I respond to your conversation?

I've once bumped this thread to have a chuckle about a few comments, other than that I've pretty much only answered and responded to things aimed at me. Not the other way around.

You've still not grasped this is an open forum. Why do so many Rangers fans find their way to Pistonheads for this thread, just to be offended and try to police the place?

If you don't like it, you are free to leave or boycott you know?

That's some collection of youtube videos. Some memory and collection to dig those out.

My point was fictitious events to try and get even. If any fan does something similar they are obsessed. If Rangers do it, it's for justice and all fair.

The EBTs are factual and obviously gave Rangers a huge, and unfair, advantage of being able to attract better players by paying more money. Obviously other teams are going to feel cheated if there is a clear case of being wronged.

If you do remember the cup game, the fight to get a ticket from the Rangers end was much, much stronger. That was at the time the fans were boycotting their own games.

You're also comparing an away league game to cup a cup game at Hampden. You're again comparing totally irrelevant factors to give you an irrelevant viewpoint.

Like I've always said, I don't dispute both fans have lots of issues. There seems to be too many of you on here that are just blinkered and see them as totally one sided.

We're not the ones claiming no connection or rivalry with a new club though.

So if it was Thistle at Hampden instead they'd have filled it? Don't think so.

And you don't have to look far on YT to find Celtic fans embarrassing themselves. smile

Have I ever claimed there is no connection? If you had taken half the time to read the arguments you have picked, I've said over and over I do see the new Rangers as a fresh start to the liquidated club. They come with much the same issues.

If they manage to sort their finances out, it won't be too long before they will be challenging Hearts and Aberdeen for 2nd position. Ian Mccall wrote a decent bit the other day. They will in time become the nearest rivals to Celtic, although they are some way behind just now. Although I know you're going to pretend otherwise.

You've made good progress this season getting in what appears to be a good manager and he's picked up a few players from the lower English leagues for free that have helped. Aberdeen have been using the same system and you can see it works to a certain extent. It's the next step up that costs a lot if money.

I could spend all day looking on YouTube for videos that are new, or years old, I could spend all day trawling social media to find insults and abuse, to get even and make Rangers or any other football fan look bad.

However I won't. It's just childish and silly. I honestly don't see the point of dragging up videos to say look what this person said, look what that person did as if it's a reflection of the majority.

Any chance of moving on and discussing football rather than having a boring game of "He said, she said"?

This is now the most annoying thread on the football forum. I appreciate you're not likely ever to be best buddies on here but the majority of other threads seem to cope all right. Just leave the silly names and the points scoring out otherwise we'll just ban you.... it's a shame but there you go. I can't be doing with reading all this guff.

He's posted twice on the Celtic thread since he joined. Does it really matter?

FFS how could I pretend we are close to Celtic when we're not even in the same league?

(IMO) Celtic are ste. But Celtic would (and did) pump us.

Having said that (and fully accepting it will take us a few years to get the on and off park stuff sorted) the team Celtic fans are most concerned with beating, i.e. their biggest rivals is of course Rangers, always will be. Trouble is at the moment there are no rivals for Celtic, it's a genuinely one horse race (you can't count the sheep last year). Which must be boring as hell for their fans.

When you have a season book at Ibrox there are two (maybe four) games you look forward to. Celtic and Aberdeen. The rest are repetitive, mundane filler. The Celtic fans I speak to feel the same, although they're less fussed about the sheepshaggers- for them it's all about the Rangers. tongue out

Pumped out the Champions League three times in two years. Quality.

And if they get distracted by st Europa games I'd stick a fiver on Hearts for the league. At this rate we'll get to the Champions League before Celtic do.

3 nil up against Airdrie in the cup after 20 minutes, and it could have been more.

"Oooooooh Warburton is magic,
He wears a magic hat,
He could have stayed in England,
But he said no fk that,
His assistant is Sir Davie,
He's Rangers till he dies,
